I toured the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. I was shown the menu and their little cafe, but I was not offered any food. It was very clean. The residents there seemed cheerful, and happy, and said hello to me when I was touring. The people who worked there were smiling and helping other residents who lived there. Everybody was friendly. They seemed caring. I got a very good feel for the place. I see the staff stop and help the residents if they need help with the wheelchairs or walking. They were always greeted.

I moved into the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach two weeks ago. They have no organization in the dining room. There are patients that are fighting with each other. There are some staff that are good to be around and others not. The food is terrible. The facility is patched up. It's not clean. It doesn't get cleaned up often. A lot of people are here that don't want to be here. And so it doesn't help when the food is crappy and the situation is uncomfortable.

I toured the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. It had a lot of different areas to go to. Inside and outside had different lounges, including a coffee lounge, a TV lounge, and a theater lounge. You could play cards and other games. They had scheduled activities, and a nice dining hall, which I like. The structure of the building looks fine and it looks very clean to me. It seems the residents and staff there are happy and enjoying wherever they are. There were a bunch of ladies sitting around in one area, and a bunch of people sitting outside. The lady at the front desk was a little short, but other than that, I didn't find her very nice. However, where I'm from, everybody is super friendly. I do wish there was a little bit more separation in the semi-private rooms. Maybe just a partition or something between the two beds. That's the only thing that I think would make it a little bit better.

We toured the Grand Villa of Deerfield. The apartment was very nice. The staff worked great. They called me and kept me updated. They were top-notch. They had a piano place and a place to sit and watch television. They had a card game room. They had a rec room and an outdoor little space where you could sit outside on the porch and rocking chairs. They even had a little bar there that they had happy hour every day. It was a very pleasant place. I dealt with Trish and she did a great job.

Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach was a very open place. A lot of the residents were wandering around, talking to us, and it was a very friendly atmosphere. The apartments were smaller, which I kind of didn't like. The staff was very friendly, very open, and very knowledgeable. You had to walk outside to get from one building to another, which I didn't like because of the inclement weather we tend to have down here.

My friend has moved into Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. The place is nice. It's neat. The people are friendly. They have a lot of activities for the elderly. They take them places. I think it's an excellent choice for any family member to choose from. She said the food is good. I like that it's clean. I just saw the activity listing. I know she likes the activities. I didn't see any of what they were doing, but from the list that they have, there are a lot of activities and a lot of good ones as well. There's always something for them to do to keep them active. Value for money is very good for her and the family as well.

I toured Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. The staff who toured me was wonderful. She was very informative. They were all very friendly. It was all very nice. The place was very clean, very well kept, and very festive. They had decorations for Christmas and the moment you walk in, you'll find it comfortable. They showed us the rooms. They showed us where they exercise and they showed us the place where they have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They showed us the menu. However, when you have a private room, the shower is quite small, so that's a little bit uncomfortable.

I had an in-person tour of the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. The staff was very friendly and responsive. I arrived way early for my appointment, so the person who was supposed to give me the tour couldn't because she was with another client. Someone else took me around and showed me the place. The best thing about them were the people. The facility itself was nice. The rooms were OK. I thought some of the furniture was a bit dated, but it was clean. They had their regular entrees for the day, but then you can always order other things off the menu, so there was enough variety. There was a café and a lounge. They had a nice outdoor space.

The Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach was nice. I liked that it was close. What I didn't like was the fact that they weren't able to accommodate my wife's needs. I think they should live up to what they do and what they do not do, because we were going around in circles (me and my wife) trying to get her in there, and at the end of the day, they weren't able to accommodate her. They were nice people though. The facility was clean and well-maintained. They have exercise, an outdoor patio, an exercise area, and a TV room.

This is a very tight knit community and we loved it for the 11 months a family member lived there. I would caution however anyone wanting to become a resident there. When you sign that contract they mention nothing about kicking you out if your live one has many falls . We were shocked . They gave us 45 days to find a new place. Also they are to quick to call EMS. Any fall no matter what the resident will be transported to the neatest hospital. Medical assistants are the over night team and there are no RN’s over night. Just be careful and ask questions before signing the paper

My mom is very happy with the staff she has dealt with. The staff are friendly and professional. My mom really loves her room. It is large, clean, and very comfortable. My mom plays bingo 4-5 times a week. They have parties and different activities weekly.

My father has moved into Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. So far, so good. I don't have any complaints. On its face, it seems like a nice place. The staff seems involved and friendly. I would recommend it if somebody had to go check it out for now. It's only been a month, so you never know. They've been very accommodating to me so far. I wouldn't degrade them in any way. For now, it's good. The staff is very accommodating. Their customer service is pretty good. I don't see any deficiencies in what I experience so far. The layout is good and simple. He's in memory care, so it's highly manageable the way they got it set up, which is pretty good. Everything's going well right now. I know they have a more conventional area for people that don't have a cognitive disorder. They're just older folks that need supervision and it's on the first floor and it seems very nice. When I was there, they had some lady doing a standup comedy routine or something in one of the rooms. They had them all in there doing something, but that's just what I witnessed. I think they're doing well. It seemed like they were happy there. I didn't see any people trying to escape or anything. I think their pricing is reasonable. I wish the whole thing was a lot cheaper, but I think for what it is, the going rates, I think it's comparable to most places.

I will describe Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach as excellent, cozy, and with a friendly atmosphere. They have enough room for anyone and the staff who gave the tour was very friendly. Nobody invited us for lunch, not even water, but that's ok. We stopped by during their activities. The person who handles the activities was very nice, they incorporate the activities for my friend so she'll feel good. They had a good barbecue outside where you can recreate yourself. But for the patient who happens to see everybody eating but for her not to eat anything, not even go closer, and we got there at 12:30. The chauffeur was excellent and the upkeep of the building was very good. I would say that whoever comes between 12:00 and 2:00 for them to offer a snack or invite them for lunch. It's half an hour to get there, so we got there around quarter to one and I did not have a chance to get my friend anything for lunch. I was expecting somebody to come and invite us, that was the only thing I did not like.

My father is doing good at Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. He's been wanting to come home, but he needs memory care and he's been there for four weeks now. It's great so far. I don't have any complaints. It's very nice and clean, and the staff is nice and friendly. The rooms are nice. Everything is nice. His room has a bed and dressers. He had to bring his own TV, but he has a mini-refrigerator in the room. They have a barbershop there. They have a chef also. He's tried the food, but I guess because it's kind of healthy, he doesn't like it. They have salmon and sometimes steak or burgers (but not often because he's a diabetic). They have a good menu. The facilities look nice. He sounds so much better since he went there. It's expensive, but most memory care facilities are just about that amount.

My friend will be moving into Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. We visited three weeks ago and we also visited there last week. The first time we visited we saw both assisted living and memory care, but the second time we focused on memory care. It was very well run from what we could see. The people were nice and the memory care is on the second floor and you have to have a key or something to get to that floor and from that floor, so there will be no chance of her wandering off. Everything looked clean and the places looked nice. It was just a very pleasant experience. The people were nice and the place looked clean and kept up. There were residents around and my friend spoke with one gentleman and she just seemed to get along right there already. We were really happy about that. The people seemed happy, and it gave a good impression. They were saying they took some of the residents to the Butterfly World and my friend loves Butterfly World. That was one of the good things that we thought was nice. They had a beauty shop and a general store.

My brother is now in the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. It looks very nice. It has a nice large dining room and an activity room. They have a little cafe that's usually open when it's not COVID. There's a place out front where they can sit, and a place in the back where they can sit. There's an area where they can walk to the public, Wal-Mart, and a few places as well. The people who work there were very efficient and very friendly. They have activities, but my brother hasn't participated yet. He said that he doesn't like the food. I'm sure that the food is adequate, though it may not be great. He's kind of picky. I think it's a good value for the money.

The staff and management people of Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach were very friendly and knew all the residents. It was a very lively place. The residents seemed to be very engaged and very active. It was a very positive environment. It's just they only had studio apartments or studio rooms and it was an older facility.

Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach seemed like a nice place. It's not fancy, but it looked homey. The rooms were good-sized as far as accommodation for someone who needs assisted living. It had a bathroom, too. The hallways were like in a hotel, and it looked good. The food seemed to be well-provided. They had a chef making the meals, and just by looking at the menu a few times, they were really serving full meals, like you would probably get in a good restaurant. Overall, they seemed like a good fit for my mother-in-law. The staff was very friendly, explained a lot of details, and answered all the questions we had in detail. We had a good experience with her. With the virus, they're a little bit limited like any place would be. There are certain activities they can't do now, like going out to the beach, to the mall, and to different places, but they plan on doing them in the future. They had crafts and supposedly different clubs, like gardening clubs, but it's all gonna depend how my mother-in-law fits and what she wants to do. My mother-in-law speaks mostly Spanish, and she speaks and understands some English. When we went there last time, she met someone who's gonna be her next door neighbor who also was Spanish. That's gonna be important too, so that she feels comfortable talking to them. We didn't interact with the staff that much other than the salesperson whom we've dealt with mostly, but everybody seemed very friendly and available.

I visited Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. They're very friendly, very nice, and the residents seemed happy. It was a very nice, clean looking facility. What made a difference compared to the other places we saw, which might have been more posh or more upscale, was that the residents seemed happy, they were all smiling, and they look well cared for. The caretakers seemed to care, were friendlier, more engaged, and knew the tenants' names. The negative is they didn't have a garden and the grounds were not as lush as other places. It's off of major highways, so it's a bit noisy. Other than that, it looked fine. The staff member during the tour was very helpful.

My father's physical health has improved in Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach, because he's getting his medication on time and eating properly. I'd prefer they had more staff, but I don't have complaints about them at all. They've all been responsive. If I had an issue, they'd take care of it immediately. His bedroom is fine; it was a very nice bedroom physically. What scared him the most, is that his dementia is in the top 10% of the other people living there. So it's very difficult for him to see people that according to him are nuts. The activities they had there were not great. They have bingo frequently. Today, I was there and they had a youth group from a local church came in and sang. They also gave out flowers and Valentine's Day cards; it was very nice. Too bad there weren't more people there that could be responsive, because the kids did a great job. Most of the people were just sitting there with their head down. They have yoga in the mornings as well. It's a locked facility, and I have to be let in in the memory care center. A new executive director has recently started, and theyre also having a family night soon. I would say theyre in the middle of the road. The food is bland but my dad's health got tremendously well. I don't think the food is hot and we're not talking any high-class food, but it's healthy. In terms of the layout, I have a problem that I would have to walk so far to get in and so far to get out, and I would have to wait so long because it's locked. They don't have enough staff available to get you in and out as you wish. It is a long walk and also far from the regular parking lot. The place itself is nice, it's been all re-done, and the walls are nicely painted. The smell is not horrible like how it is in nursing homes. The pricing is actually lower than the others that I've looked at, but it's not the cheapest. Part of the issue is that they claimed that theyre taking the residents to doctors' office that are within 10 miles for free. But I've never gotten a free trip to the doctor's.

My mother has been a resident of Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach for several weeks now. The main thing that I find attractive is that the people who work there are extremely caring. After one month, everyone who works there already knows her, which I find wonderful. The reason why we moved her was because we're looking for a place that works with Medicaid and this one does. The rooms are nice and very adequate. The staff is really wonderful, and the food is great. It has a homey environment which is really nice. It's pretty cut and dry, since they work with Medicaid, so most of the rooms are double rooms for two people. When my mom first went, she had a lovely roommate. Everything is considered. There's room for two beds, two dressers, and closets. There are also people who have single apartments. I would rate them a 5 for the care, the overall atmosphere, and food. It's not real fancy but it's not a nursing home either. It's a very nice assisted living.

Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach is very good, but they have a lot of people, and we were looking for a smaller facility. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice and large. They have a salon.

Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach was very nice. We really liked it, but they were charging too much money. The staff was very attentive and very nice, and the person who took care of us was really good. The rooms were also very nice, but again, too expensive. They have amenities like a library, a salon, and we saw residents playing Chess and Bingo.

Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach seemed to be very clean, and they were in the midst of doing some upgrades. The maintenance looked to be adequate, and it seemed very orderly and not chaotic. The room I saw was in need of upgrades because it had been occupied for a long period time, so it was not in move-in condition. The grounds are well-maintained, and it was relatively easy to get to.

Grand Villa had a few people that were closer to my cousin's age, so we think that would be appropriate. Most of the places had much older people. The room is big, bright, and clean. It's very nice. I know they have bingo, music, and stuff like that. They also have a salon and a library. I think they have services, but they don't have a chapel.

We visited Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. They showed us one room that was not very attractive. It was a room with a single bed and a dresser in it. We got a brief tour because the person who usually does the tour was not in on Saturday, the day my brother and I went. I wasn't impressed with Grand Villa place because it smelled really bad inside. When you walked into the lobby, there were people circled in wheelchairs facing each other and falling asleep. Nobody seemed to be engaging them in any activities.

My mother was in Grand Villa of Deerfield for 20 days. They had an activities director and played bingo a couple of days a week. Somebody came in and sang. I thought once they did the renovation and finished it, they might have had more stuff. The staff was friendly and pretty good, except in the memory care unit.

I was very impressed with Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. It was very clean and had plenty of opportunities for residents to do activities and a very spacious room with a pool table, ping pong, and television. It was a very positive and good place to have my friend stay. I don't have negative comments about it at all. The staff is helpful, friendly, very nice, and good. The grounds were very well-kept, attractive, and had easy access. I had a wheelchair while taking the tour, and it was very easy to get in and out. The street was not very busy.

Grand Villa was fine. They are going to renovate as the place looked like freshen up. The rooms were very nice. There was a place where the people could go in the Alzheimer’s unit, but the grounds were not fantastic like other places.

I just returned from visiting this place. All they talked about was how they were renovating it. All the renovations in the world cannot take away from the smell (masked by plug-in deoderizers) and the overall shabbiness of the place. Even though I had thoroughly and honestly explained my mother's condition to them over the phone, they agreed to an appointment. I took my mother there, who is wheelchair bound because of a broken hip but in full possession of her faculties. We took the tour, even though they refused to discuss pricing with us.. After the tour, my mother was evaluated by a nurse. Then the "tour guide" and the nurse conferred and we were given the "bad news." My mother could not move in because there was no room in the facility for her level of care (which was not all that excessive...bathing, helping with dressing, assistance to the bathroom and lunch room, etc, standard assistance living care). I can't help but feel that my mother did not meet their standards of "renovation" that they so emphasized during the tour. Perhaps they are looking for a more upscale clientele. In that case, this place needs a lot more renovating than painting and creating new rooms, like a serious examination of the air quality, carpets, elevators, and overall shabbiness of both the place and the residents.

In only a short time since taking over the newly named Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach, I have noticed a lot of change in this community. The people here are incredibly caring, attentive to the needs of my Mom, and take the time to ensure that she is happy and fulfilled. We are excited about the many exciting renovations that are planned to dramatically improve the community. I went on the websites of the other Grand Villa properties they all look really beautiful. Can’t wait to see what they do here!

Mom seems to be very happy here. Our experience has been very good so far. The staff has been very good. Mom likes it there because the ladies are friendly. It is working well. Her room is a one bedroom with a single bed. I put in a TV, a recliner, and a small refrigerator. She is happy. I would recommend them to other people looking for a similar facilty.

I liked it a lot. The people who worked there were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. It seemed to me that the residents were all happy; they were all smiling and seemed to like it there. I felt like they were trying to get the residents involved in activities. They had music, bingo, and movies.

I was very, very pleased with my visit. I talked to the staff and the residents. The people there were very happy. We toured the place, went to one of the rooms, and it was exceptionally nice.
