I just moved to Wickshire Countryside and it's a nice place. It's small and cozy. The staff is good, the food as well. I just got here, so I haven't been into the activities yet, but I know they have bingo, cards, and stuff like that. They kind of let you do your own thing here, so it's nice.

Wickshire Countryside was beautiful. There was nothing that I didn't like. It was very nicely decorated. It was very nicely run. The staff appeared very attentive and caring. They had a courtyard in the middle of the building. It was nice and clean.

If you are looking for a place for your loved one, please check the reviews of this facility. We had a very bad experience with Wickshire Senior Living. The management team did not live up with our expectations. We were charged for services not rendered and were not informed about the charges until my mother passed away. There were similar experience from other clients when you read the reviews of this facility.

We chose Wickshire Countryside for my mother-in-law because of the personnel, the location, the cleanliness, the availability, and their willingness to work with us with her condition. My father-in-law passed away, and he was her full-time caregiver. Since she couldn't live with me, I had to have something right away. That was an emergency situation. She likes the food, but I haven't eaten with her yet. They do group activities, puzzles, games, social interaction, and different things. I like the layout very much. They have two courtyards, which she enjoys very much, too; she likes being able to go outside into a walled courtyard without going out of the building. That's absolutely beautiful. She just loves it, and that's also where we visit her. It's just that they're expensive.

Atria Countryside Clearwater was absolutely beautiful. it's a place I would love for my mom to live. The staff was very helpful and the room we saw was beautiful as well. The dining area was very lovely, but I don't know anything about the food. They also have an activities list for the residents. They have a beauty salon, a party space, an area where they have a happy hour, a dining room, and a garden. It was lovely. The person who accommodated me during the tour was very helpful and very nice, and the place itself was absolutely immaculate.

We like Atria Countryside McMullen Booth among all the places we have visited. It was very nice, and the person who gave us the tour was really good. The apartment they showed us was extremely nice, and she also showed us everything there was to see and answered all our questions with no problems. The apartment itself was setup for somebody who has a walker or a wheelchair. They invited us to come back anytime if we wanted to have lunch.

I visited Horizon Bay. The lady that showed me around was very nice. The rooms were large. I liked the size of their room, but they were really filthy and needed cleaning. I saw a whole bunch of old people in wheelchairs drooling and not being cared for. They were just sitting in their wheelchairs bored.

My wife's parents have lived in the Safety Harbor facility for nearly a year. The place is sadly short staffed, laundry doesn't get done and returned properly, kitchen services are only fair. Promises were made. Most staffers work well and are very kind but resources are slim and poorly managed. And oh BTW, the fees are rising. Look around if you are shopping for an ALF.

Every one here is helpul and friendly. The food is pretty good altho not much variety. What I don't like is a charge of $137 per month for having an wxygen machine. I think that's a little exhorbitant Very nice facility,

Horizon Bay Clearwater is a very nice place, but it isn’t what we were looking for my grandmother. The staff were pretty good. The facility was clean and quiet.

Brookdale Horizon Bay Clearwater is wonderful in every way. It is extremely clean. The staff were very caring; they go the extra mile to make sure people have what they need. The price is reasonable and more competitive compared to other facilities. The food quality is chef-grade. Their nursing care is excellent. I have no complaints at all.

My husband had his respite care at Horizon Bay. They had very friendly and nice people up there. The facility itself was very nice and very clean. The room that my husband had was a single room, which was very nicely done. They had a beautiful patio out at the back. They had quite a few activities that he enjoyed, and the food was excellent. It had very pleasant areas for the residents to sit down in and had very nice accommodations for any visitors. They had a variety of nicely appointed sitting areas. It had a nice cheerful atmosphere.

Horizon Bay had nice people but it just wasn’t suited for my mother. The facility was much nicer than the one my mom had been in, but the logistics of the room to the dining and all the activities was too far for my mother who has milder dementia. It was very large. It had probably the best facilities of all the places we've visited. When you walk in, you’re impressed by the facility and they have people that did a good job of presenting their program and what they do there, and the facilities were top-shelf. It’s stronger in some areas and maybe not in other areas.

The rooms were not large enough at Horizon Bay. Their staff was warm and friendly. They spent all the time that was necessary with us. They answered all our questions and gave me a brochure. They made me feel welcome and urged me to call if I had any other questions. The place was clean; only the apartments they showed us were not. Someone had moved out and it had not been prepared for the next person yet. The dining room was very nice and very clean. It was of adequate size. It didn't have quite as much light -- maybe more ceiling lights were needed. Some of the residents were already going into the cafeteria area and they had waiters and waitresses who were assisting them. The fact that the staff would take the time to do that made quite an impression on us.

Horizon Bay was clean. The place, as well as the help, was nice. I didn't like the room. It was small.

Horizon Bay was our favorite facility. The place is spacious and beautiful. They have more of an apartment style and they have a full kitchen which is very nice. The staff were nice and very friendly.

I did visit Horizon Bay and they were wonderful. The rooms were of average size. The staff were wonderful. They have an area where people can walk outside. I just noticed that the residents there are much, much older than I am, but I would very much recommend this facility.

Horizon Bay was a beautiful facility but it was five stories. It has beautiful grounds and the people were very nice. I saw several rooms and they were very nice and of reasonable size. I would have chosen it because it was newer but the distance where my mother's room was from the dining hall and having to use elevators wouldn't have worked for her. It has a great location and close to hospitals and doctors.

My mother is currently in a rehab but as soon as she graduated from there, we will be moving her in Horizon Bay. When I visited the facility, I thought it's excellent in the entire aspect. It was by far the nicest of all the facilities I visited. It is nicely structured and everything about their care and program. We already reserved a studio apartment which is adequately sized for her. She will be moving in this August 10, 2012.

The Horizon Bay Clearwater assisted living facility looked well maintained as my friend and I drove up. His mother needs a place to live, so we were looking at places in the region. From the outside, the building looked like a country estate. The main foyer was quite lovely, with fresh flowers and air. We loved the cathedral high ceilings, cozy fireplace and comfortable furnishings. What really stood out for us was the windows - which let a lot of brilliant light inside. The communal areas all had interesting activities occurring, from reading to games and other resident interactions. It was clear that the seniors enjoy living there, and the staff is very accommodating. The main patio had a lovely fountain in the center, with plenty of seating. The library had a lot of nice titles to choose from. The events and outings calendar included many activities, from shopping to culture, restaurants, fairs and festivals. They also host parties for residents at the facility which they encourage friends and family to attend. The food choices looked nutritious and delicious, as well as the regular snacks - offered continually. The dining areas were pleasant to be in and offered residents the ability to choose whatever they like. The living suites were all a nice size and did not seem cramped. They were also beautifully decorated. We could see how any senior would be comfortable in any one of them. Each unit had individually controlled temperatures. All of the resident's needs appear to be met easily and efficiently, in a friendly and caring manner. In all, this is a lovely facility with attentive and caring staff.

My Great grandmother is currently living at Horizon's bay in clearwater. I visit her every other week. I really enjoy the atmosphere there, it feels like a resort. They have a huge open lobby where guests can mingle with each other. They have a big room they call the "Library" that has a bunch of books to read. They also have some really good food. The only complaint I have is that it seems that there is always a room that is a little messy. Im not sure if it is the employees fault or one of the quests. Other than that is a nice little place, they have a courtyard with a fountain and tables. It is located near a bunch of places so she never gets bored. The people there are fairly friendly, they seemed very helpful while I was there. They have younger employees/volunteers probably in there twenties. I recommend this place from what i have seen so far, i haven't been to any others yet so i cant say this is the best; but its seems great so far.
