While in Clearwater checking out assisted living options for my friend's mother, we stopped in at Pearl Manor. They were happy to accommodate us, even though we did not make an appointment. We could see that the grounds would be a great place to spend time and have social gatherings. They were all well manicured - with plenty of areas for residents to enjoy with each other and friends and family. The lunch we saw smelled and looked very appetizing and like a meal you might see in an upscale eatery. The dining room was really lovely - as were all the adjacent communal areas. Scheduled activities included films, games, fine and casual dining and many other regular outing options. Despite the fact that the snacks were made to be healthy, they all looked like they tasted really good. The snacks offered included everything from fresh baked goods to fruits and vegetables. This facility was nicely designed with good colors, spacious and comforting. The staff seemed to really enjoy interacting with the residents.
