I like Bridgeport Senior Living and everything is okay. The staff is very nice. My brother is getting occupational and physical therapy. They also do coloring, parties, puzzles, and there's a lady who comes and sings karaoke with them. They also bring in therapy dogs. The menu looks okay and balanced. The residents or the place don't smell. It's a beautiful, airy house, which is well-kept in and out.

Bridgeport Senior Living- Port Springs Alzheimer's unit is a lovely facility. I would recommend them to anybody. They're very welcoming and do anything they can to make your loved one comfortable, happy, and well-adjusted in a home situation. The managers have all been pleasant so I'd say they're an A-plus. They're very gentle with patients and they help and sit and talk with the residents. It's just a very good experience for anybody who's looking for a good situation for their loved on. They offered us a tasty meal. They have entertainment and plenty of things for them to do. They had a plate of fresh cookies, and they made tea for me as we were sitting there just discussing everything so it was like coming into somebody's home.

An exceptional facility. Our mother was a resident in this home. The care givers are patient, loving and fully engaged--each one treated our mother like she was a member of their own family. The food is wonderful--healthy and delicious. The house is clean, very attractive, safe and offers indoor and outdoor spaces where residents can freely wander. The center of the house is a big warm kitchen where residents and staff congregate for meals, activities and just to hang out. The house is extremely well run, but it feels like a home, not a facility (and not just to residents, but to family members visiting). Our mother had previously been in a more typical, larger facility and there is absolutely no comparison. Unlike most places, staff turnover is extremely low and caregiver schedules are the same week to week so there is continuity of care. Administration is not only accessible, but present and involved. Our mother passed away with hospice support while living here, and being in this warm and supportive environment made that difficult experience so much easier. I only wish we had found this place sooner. I can't recommend it highly enough.
