I would give this facility a negative 5 if that was an option. My father was admitted to this nightmare and every second he was there was nothing short of disturbing. The staff is beyond rude and lazy. My father was not showered nor was he responded to by staff when needed. Call light went unanswered for over an hour and nobody seemed to care. The nurses are pathetic and they do not care about patient care. Worst place and they should be ashamed of this!

They have tried to discharge my 92 yr old friend twice now. She is just starting to walk and gain her strength after 2 1/2 weeks. According levels of competency and progress she is not ready. The center has nothing in place for her to leave. My husband was in a small old SNF in Arvada, just last year and the quality of care is totally different. The nursing and quality of care was superior!!! The SNF and I coordinated his homecare, DME needs, upcoming doc appointments. They even sent an OT to our home before his was discharged, to make sure it was a safe environment. I was NOT impressed with hotel/spa atmosphere. Flat Irons gave my friends family a list of homecare agencies and said here you go! No guidance. This is total BS! I am a retired surgeon. I'd send anyone to the funky nursing center for excellent healthcare, food and all therapies first.

The best thing about Flatirons Health & Rehab was the building layout. It was very well designed with individual rooms and plenty of room for the staff to work and do their jobs. I would give them very high remarks. They work together well as a team. My dad's room was great, and there were individual rooms for each person. They have a gym, a little library or a sitting area for each floor, and a cafeteria area/dining area. It was very nice.

Very cold and unfriendly. He sat in his room without much interaction with staff unless called.

I arrived by ambulance following surgery at anshutz. I was unable to walk , my room was large, clean and airy with a window. The staff was excellent, the therapists were excellent, my goal was to leave without using a walker that was achieved in 2 weeks

My mother came here after three days int he hospital for the Norovirus. I was afraid to send her back to Assisted Living because she was so weak. I needed to be sure that she would get nourishment and hydration so she could go home. She wasn't eating their food (the kitchen wasn't able to serve hot food for some reason) so I brought plenty of Boost, snacks, microwaveable mac and cheese, etc. Met with the staff about giving these items to them. When I checked three days later, everything was still in the refrigerator --they hadn't made sure she ate or drank anything. She was there three days before any rehab efforts began. It was a total waste of five days.

My father was at Flatirons Health and Rehab. It was clean, but not homey. The staff was pretty good. He didn't like eating there. He thought it was lousy food. He did physical therapy and that was pretty much it. He spent most of his time in his room.

Flatirons Health and Rehab is a newer facility and a little bit more modern, so it's nice because it had a few more amenities. I don't think the staff was as good, and they didn't do nearly as good a job with their rehab program. When my mom was there, they'd come and get her out of her room and do rehab for half hour a day and that was it. She just sat in her room the rest of the time. Even though it's more new, they still didn't have a very good rehab program there. They had a nice dining area, but the food was kind of average, and I know the guests complained that after theyd eat theyd sit there for a really long time before someone would come and take them back to their room. They had a little theater area that they could go and watch, but they didnt really have activities for them.
