My father moved into Lakewood Assisted Living (Reed Street). It's been wonderful. Right now they're just going through some management changes. And so things are just not being done as quickly as they were when he first moved in. His room is okay. It could be a little bit cleaner. But like I said, they're going through some changes with staffing and stuff like that. I know he complains about not having ice. The ice machine hasn't been working. So just little minor things like that. There's no exercise room, but there is a patio in the backyard where they can go and sit. I think they're planting flowers or a garden I think they have back there. He can't get around well. So just having the opportunity to be able to go in the backyard, and they have people there to kind of oversee him so he doesn't fall. They also have a beauty parlor kind of thing where they can go and get their haircut and stuff like that. They have a performer that comes in, they play music, or they watch movies in the big room. He does like listening to music. And I think they even do like book readings and stuff like that. I think the meals are prepared daily. He likes different types of foods. So I think the food's been really good for him there. They're very helpful and they're always there. If I have a question or something, I can always just pick up the phone and call one of them, or even text them. So they're always very responsive. I just think it's a great facility in the sense that it's more of like a home and not a facility.
