They have 5 or 6 rooms, maximum 8 residents. Food seems better than industrial facilities, staff seems are kind and passionate. Price is higher than other facilities we looked in Arvada area.

I had a tour at Jaxpointe Assisted Living at Holland St. There wasn't much that I liked about it. I chose not to even consider it because the house was not warm and inviting. They had the windows opened on here in Colorado, on a frigid day, trying to air it out. So, it didn't smell so much like urine. The care staff were not warm and inviting. It just didn't seem like there was much of a relationship between the care staff and the residents. They have a backyard, and it is pretty bare bones. It's an older house that's been converted into assisted living. It's a super small house. There's only room for maybe eight or ten residents. I did not like that you can't visit anytime. You have to have reservations. I thought that was super weird, like, why can't you just stop by and see your loved one? They are the only place I looked at that does that.
