My friend is moving into The Argyle. It's a nice place, very quiet, serene, and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and very wonderful to work with. She has a private room and it's very nice and clean. It's a 12'x12' room; they put in new carpet for her and repainted everything just for her. The dining area was very relaxed and comfortable. The people are very friendly and make sure that you're comfortable and you can get along well with the people you're sitting with.

The Argyle is an older place but it's satisfactory. The staff seem friendly and cooperative. The layout is fine and dandy; but then again, it's an older facility and it lacks air conditioning. The meals are provided, and they have medical services daily (like vitamins or medications that they need). They also have bingo, some games to play, and other things to do.

I would like to update my review, we finally are getting the assistance for my 96 year old great aunt. My biggest concern is the bigger issue of bed bugs and mice. The staff is now working with my mom and hopefully will keep her in the loop. I guess we just need to be patient. This is the first time my family has dealt with assisted living facilities and we just need to remind ourselves that it's difficult working with so many residents with a variety of needs.

The Argyle was homey, inviting, and warm. Outside was neat and clean, and the workers were friendly. The amenities included the dining hall, game room, library, and a nice lobby. They also had an outside smoking area. There were three levels of care, which were independent, assisted, and the higher care unit.

The Argyle was very nice. However, there was a two-year wait for independent living, but the rooms were very nice. I liked that it had a homey feel. I had not tried the food, but I saw the cafeteria, and it was nice. They offered outings, and they had an exercise room.

I visited The Argyle. The staff seemed to be very good. They answered all our questions. They showed us around, and they gave us a nice tour. They provided us lunch, and they were just very accommodating. The room is nice and clean, and for a studio, it is adequate. The food is good. The dining room is very nice, and their food selection is very good. They have bingo, movies, games, puzzles, and TVs. I like the friendliness of the place.

The Argyle is very nice. Everybody is really friendly, and it has been great so far. My mother is already in there. Everybody is very friendly, and they seem to be doing a great job. It is just a very friendly facility, and they seem to be everything that you need.

I didn’t like The Argyle from the very beginning. Somebody helped me find an apartment at that time because I had to get out of the other place where I was living. The apartment was nice although really old. The next morning after I moved in, I needed to go downstairs and when I went downstairs the people were very rude. Come to find out, it was a culture of brown and black people; they didn’t want any white people in the building. They have potlucks, and I have reached down. Because I’m Italian, I brought some Italian food, and they wouldn’t eat it. I never went down to any of the events and never went down for dinners; I am just here in my apartment for four years. I got a letter from the manager to tell me that I have to move out. Not so much for the staff and the management so much; that’s the people themselves. The people were the ones that makes the apartment feel like a home not the staff. Another thing they do here that was very unusual is that they have what they call an in house phone; each one of our apartments have an in-house phone, and there were telephone numbers so that we can talk to anyone here in the apartment complex by just using the extension number. Also they have a receptionist just downstairs, and we have to okay by six o’clock, and if they don’t hear from us, they call us, and if we don’t answer the phone, the staff come up and check to make sure that I am leaning on the ground or the floor or dead or whatever, and they checked with us daily. They even have a bus stop right in front of the senior housing in case anybody wants to go downtown shopping; they can get on the bus.

My mother is in The Argyle, and we are really happy because she is being taken good care of there. She's very comfortable, and she has lots of friends. They have their restaurants, and they have meals three times a day. They do yoga, trips, and things like that. It has a wonderful atmosphere. It is a lot like having your parents somewhere that you really trust the staff and the environment is great. It is a great place, and I highly recommend it.

Argyle is antique, it’s beautiful and when you walk in there, you feel you’ve come home. I would appreciate more staff though, I think there’s not enough staff to care for all these people. They also do not have air conditioning in the room and only in the hallways but everything is excellent. I would prefer a tailored diet for my mother and they don’t offer that at all. The room is beautiful but I would appreciated an eating area so we can put her dishes and wash them there instead in the bathroom.

When looking for a place mom would like, we came across the Argyle. It just so happened to be in a convenient location for others of the family to visit. The fine wood banisters and old wood trim in the building lend itself to a nostalgic feel that, I believe, the residents living there can relate to. Mom's room is small, I wish it were a bit larger, but for those that are social butterflies, the room size doesn't matter that much because they have the freedom to visit the social areas of the building, and there are many. I appreciate the fact that all of mom's doctor visits are taken care of and that she has three meals a day there plus snacks anytime. However, once in awhile the meals leave something to be desired. I have to realize that even at home when she was living with me, we'd have a meal that wasn't neccessarily ideal. All in all I think they deserve

Dayspring Villa is at a good location. It's nice, clean, modern and well-organized. Everyone seems very nice. My friend is in an apartment, with a kitchenette all to himself. The room is nice but smaller than I expected. My friend says that the food is okay. Maybe they can improve the quality of the food.

The facility felt like you were visiting someones home. It was very "homey". The staff member that showed us the facility was patient with my parents, my sister, and I, as we asked several questions while being shown the facility. The facility itself seemed clean and well kept. The residents there also seemed to be relaxed, which gave you a peaceful feeling about the place. We would definitely consider The Argyle if and when my parents are ready to be placed.
