We are at the Overture Stapleton. We have an apartment that is very pleasant, cozy, and very comfortable. I'm enjoying it a lot. We are in an excellent location for my needs. They play card, Bingo, and have continental breakfast. I've only been here a week, so I'm just getting used to it. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful. They're helpful. I don't get around very much, but they help me as much as they can, which is great and I appreciate it. I'm very pleased with everything. I'm very glad to have made the move.

What I like about Overture Stapleton 55+ Apartment Homes is the location, and they gave me a discount for moving in. I also like the way the one unit can be divided up into two separate bedrooms. Compared to others, the price is better. They have a pool table, outdoor barbecue facility, meeting room , and community room. They have three continental breakfasts every day except for the weekends, and three newspapers in the morning. The lady who signed me up and the activities person gave me information about what's coming up and how they do it. They signed me up on the webpage that you can go to for the list of activities. They were pretty friendly.

I wanted to get into Overture Stapleton, but they were very full. I really liked their apartments. I saw the nice one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The community was located right on the bus line. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I suggest they provide more transportation for people who can't get around very well.

Overture Stapleton Apartments was nice, but I didn’t spend very much time there because it didn’t seem like an assisted care facility. It was independent, and it seemed they didn’t offer assistance at all. I didn’t go into a room, and I only met one lady. The lady was nice enough, and she was accommodating. It was nice and secure. You had to be buzzed in; you couldn’t just walk in, which was a good thing. She talked to me for a couple of minutes, and there were some people who were around, and people were coming and going. So I thought that I was in the wrong place.

Have been living here since May 2015. Went through an ownership and management change. New owners did a lot of work to improve the exterior and entry which was a big inconvenience to all residents. However, the apartment units are equipped with low grade appliances and finishes. A renewed lease will cost me an increase of 6% for the apartment, 100% for the parking space and 15% for the storage cage in the basement - $2400 total for the month. Many other places available at a lower cost and better finishes. Overall, needs some help to keep the place clean. Get a California duster to keep the car clean in the garage.

I have lived at Overture for 1 1/2 yrs and it has been a delightful experience. People are friendly, and many options for socializing if and when you choose. The place is well kept, The management has been available and responsive to any needs we have, and it is a great location.

I have lived in this terrific "facility" since day one. My beautiful apartment is in the NE corner and I don't have any issues with the city sounds at all and I have windows open. The anonymous complainer obviously didn't check things out. I happen to love living at Overture Stapleton with folks who have truly become my extended family. The management has been so easy to work with. This is a perfect area - can't imagine ever living elsewhere. Moving to Overture was my last move - I have always said it will be feet first out the door.

I am a resident of the Overture independent living apartments in Stapleton. My name is Nancy weight and I have lived here happily for one year. I strongly disagree with all the opinions of the anonymous reviewer at this site of Oct. 16th.. The remarks regarding noise sound like someone who is on the lookout for things to complain about. Yes, the north side of the building faces Martin Luther King Blvd. Did you not know this when you signed your rental contract? The same is true re the small bistro, liquor store, and cleaners across the street. Did you not notice these establishments when you visited Overture? We here, on the west side of the building do not find noise or foot traffic a serious problem. Most of us take advantage of the convenience afforded by these three small shops. As to the complaint regarding costs (rent, garage, and others): these costs are either at market price of other similar senior living apartments or below. Did you not do your homework to investigate other similar facilities before moving here? The nicest thing about our community is the comaraderie of our residents and the friendly and knowledgeable management. Here, we can each live and take part in the friendship and activities of our neighbors and friends to the extent we choose. Seems odd that one of our residents is so annoyed with he/her Overture experience that one wonders why she chose to to live here in the first p[lace and continues to do so.

Over priced and poorly managed. It is a noisy place to live. During the day it seem quiet but at night the street noise and light rail train whistle blows most of the time. It is across the street from a Bistro with happy hour, music and a liquor store bring lots of people in and noise. Parking is a big problem for residents and visitors. They charge $100 a month to park in the garage too, plus many, many other fees. The manager is not well informed with the company policies and is very misleading. Make sure to get everything she tells you in writing or you will pay later.

The staff at Overture Stapleton wasn’t expecting me. Somehow, they didn’t get any computer that I was coming. I thought the facility was OK, but it was overpriced.
