This place is not where you want your loved one. There's zero communication! My loved one was sent to hospital & we were not notified! Another mishap & still NO notification! How sad it is that my loved one can't have their own phone because they know it will get stolen. Trying to reach your loved one through their phone system is an absolute joke! If Alejandra is truly a social worker, she needs a refresher course on patient advocacy. She picks & chooses what her job might be! Management of no assistance. The first time I visited I had a gut feeling this outdated place was not I good fit & I'm kicking myself for trusting Cody & the others who were "under new management"

This SNF should be shut down. MAjor violations. Family member could have died here. PAtient entered with CVD_19 and was not put into a CVD isolation room but was blamed for that by nursing. Was given a commode with no bottom for 5 days but the patient was blamed for the mess. Nurse tried to give the patient diabetes medicine and patient is not diabetic. One nurse gave narcotics in a reduced dosage and when confronted this still continued. This was reported to DON who did nothing. NUrsing blamed patient for laying on bed which was not made for 3 hours since she did not feel well but was yelled at and no one cared to find out what was wrong. THis is a horrible facility and I am so glad my family member survived. I pray/hope they are investigated

Telephone system is a joke. Either they don't answer or they put yyou on hold and never come back on or cut you off. I have tried as many as 5 times to speak with a resident. They answer politely but then you're on your own. The latest ploy is I'll call you back, never happens.Last week there was a message 3 cosecutive days that the phone system was non functional but press 0 for an emergency which I did only to be greeted in a surley defensive manor by Alejandra (sp?) who said pt was in the shower and she'd call me back, never did but I'm not surprised because I've left messages for her and she never responds. How costly can it be to install a pt friendly phone system? Currently I've been waiting 32 minutes for a call back to speak to my family member after being connected to the wrong patient.

This place needs to be investigated and Im confident that once it has been they will be shut down. Leslie admin has no clue and alejandra with Social Services isnt there half the time nor does she call you back. She is the 4th person in this position since Aug. 2019.

Well start off with my family member was admitted into kaweah Manor just until she recovered from her surgery why she was there they did not bathe her they did not take care of her she had to do her own bladder training I as a family member had to change her dressing for her wound that they we're supposed to be responsible for but weren't one of the nurses ended up pulling out her rose pin drain she ended up getting the infection I will guarantee she will never ever ever set foot in that place again they do not take care of their patients and as far as I'm concerned they should be shut down and they need to be investigated for elderly abuse also one of the staff members who was to take the family member for a walk almost pulled out her catheter could never get a hold of the doctor the doctor said he would be in said he seen her twice in the whole time that she was there but in all actuality he never seen her they straight up lie

Cecilia is doing good at Kaweah Manor, it is a very good place. She is sharing a room with another resident, she likes where she is living now, and she likes the help that she is getting. The staff is very helpful. The nurses are nice, they help her in doing a lot of things. They're really good with her. As long as Cecilia is happy there, we're happy. I like that they're on a first name basis and that they know her very well. They're looking after her diet, too.

First thing I noticed was the horrendous smell. The staff looked exhausted and the director is still in training after 3 years of my mother's admission. Often times, we would go visit and Mom would be soaked especially nights. It seems to be going through transition but they're always losing staff. I wonder why? Come to find out they had mold in one of the rooms. Thank goodness she is elsewhere now. Take a good look at the floor and walls. They tend to sugar coat to get you in but good luck getting things done after admission. Never again..shame on them.

My father is a resident there for long term care. The director was the first to help us and is compassionate and sincere and ALWAYS willing to help or solve any issues or concerns or special needs related to my father specifically. Also the activity director always comes around and has found ways to get my father involved in things of his interest. The accounting and bookkeeper is cheerful and all smiles and greets everyone and always does my fathers paper work and goes over things with us and keeps us informed. The nurses and CNA are the ones that come in and check on my dad all the time and my dad is very comfortable with them. My dad loves it there. He refers to them as his family and he truly means that. He feels like he is taken care of like a king he says. If he needs to talk, they listen, if he needs help, they help. He felt guilty at the beginning asking for things because he felt like they did so much for him. They had to convince him that they loved doing it and that is what they are there for. I can't say enough. The residents seem so happy. My dads roommate and him get along like college buddies. It is a great feeling knowing that he is taken care of. I go in and visit at all different times of the day and night and it is the same.

I chose Kaweah Manor for its availability. At the time, I was looking for a long term bed. The staff is very good, the director is very helpful, and the intake people are very efficient and informative. Her care is good. It’s on the way, so when I take my wife to work every day we literally drive right by it, and then also when I picked my wife up at work at night. We drive right by the place so we can easily go over and visit.

This is an older skilled nursing facility that also handles Alzheimers. It has about 99 beds with semi-private rooms and only 1 private room. They are owned by a corporation with other facilities in the area. The meal menus had some decent food choices including fresh salads prepared from scratch. The residents are allowed to move about outside. The rooms were pleasant, not a lot of odor and ample in size. There are different sub-stations for the level of assistance needed. The staff was friendly and I saw lots of visitors moving about. There are private rooms available for families to visit. The grounds were nice and well maintained. The building is older and could use a new paint job, but it's located in a great area.
