My mom lives in here. The staff there is very nice. She is well cared for at the memory care unit. I saw ten residents out in their living area and there were always at least four staff members out there, just helping and talking to them. The rooms, the dining area, and the lobby areas were so nice too. We actually tried the food there a couple of years ago when we toured the place, and it was really good. Everybody was very professional, and the food was great. My mom's room is a long walk from the front door and back to her bed (probably about twenty feet or plus). She has her twin bed, a dresser, a side table, a card table, and another chair in the corner to sit and get dressed. She got a huge walk-in bathroom with a handicapped-accessible shower. The lobby areas had a woodsy and cozy kind of feel to them. Everything smelled clean and fresh. They also do their laundry for them and they all took care of her. She is really clean and she is happy. Although the building is not brand new, they do keep it nice and comfortable.

Eagle Lake Village Senior Living Community was very nice, very clean, very, very friendly, and helpful. It sounds like they'll be attentive to my mother and all of the questions I asked. I got good answers for as far as what they'll do for my mother's medication, what they do for helping her out in her little apartment, and different things like that. I think that she'll be well cared for there. They have different floor plans. Some rooms are shared, some rooms are independent. There are studios and one- and two-bedrooms. They also have a memory care unit. If she gets worse, they can move her into there. They do activities every day, exercises, movie nights with popcorn, art and music, and if she were mobile enough they would take her around town to go grocery shopping or to Walmart or whatever she wants to do. The other thing I liked was that they do hair and nails. They have a salon in house, so that alleviates having to take her out to a salon outside of the home, which was good.
