The Broadmoor was a very good place. We were met by a gentleman who runs the office and he gave us a little talk about it. Then he took us around and showed us the garden area and patio area. It's a very busy area of town. There were streets on both sides of the building. It's rather busy but it's a good location for transportation and getting around San Francisco. The rooms were very nice. There were two different types, a studio and then a one-bedroom apartment. The lobby area was very spacious and nice. They were very clean and very friendly. The only thing was the rooms weren't quite as big.

I went to The Broadmoor on Tuesday, the independent living place downtown at 1499 Sutter. The people were very nice. I finally got a hold of someone to make sure I could go in so I went down and went in. The property is older. It reminded me of my first apartment down in downtown San Francisco. They were nice though. They gave me soup and a sandwich for lunch. The property is older. The public area, the lobby, and the dining room area were pretty nice. The rooms are older and a little darker due to how the lighting is. They're spacious, but they're old. If you get a room with a good window then that might get some sunlight but the rooms looked a little depressing.

I checked out The Broadmoor. I have a friend that lived there for a couple of years. You get three meals a day. They've got two different size studios, one is very small, and one is good size for one person. The staff is very supportive of the people there, and they do daily cleaning. It's got a very large patio in the back, and that's the only good part. It's in a good part of town, and there's some hills you have to navigate. It does not have all the bells and whistles that a person of higher income would want, but for a basic senior living, it's adequate, and they take care of you. I did eat lunch there, and it was OK. I saw a common area, and it was clean.

The Broadmoor used to be a hotel. It was very nice. It's in San Francisco, and it's within my means, but the rooms that were available were really tiny. The carpeting and the things in there were very old. I saw a bunch of seniors watching TV in a room, but they were only offered popcorn.

The Broadmoor was an old hotel which they turned into independent living, and they don't have other resources available if you get sick. It's beautiful and very well-kept. The staff was nice, and they had a little room where they showed movies. They also had trips, but they didn't have a lot of transportation available to them. It was a beautiful site with pathways and little sitting areas. You can choose a meal plan. It felt comfortable and good for people who don't want to live in their home anymore, and need a little help, but not to the point that they need care.

I visited The Broadmoor. I liked the location near my house, but the facility looked a little dated. The manager was very friendly, but later, there were some miscommunications. He said, basically, my mother could move in as soon as the next day, so when I contacted the manager to confirm when my mother was on her way in, he said, “No, no, no. We cannot do it today. We are not ready.” So, that was actually the end of it. We’re not going back to them and stay there. He showed me a couple of different types of rooms with windows but no view; just a view of the wall, which was not desirable. They served three meals a day.

I was able to visit The Broadmoor when I was looking for a place for my sister. It was very nice. The people there were very hospitable, inviting, and very nice. They invited us to lunch which I feel that was very nice of them. The girls who work with us were lovely ladies. They took the time to show us the facility, and tour the place. The area was very clean, and located in a good location. We were very impressed with the place.

We visited The Broadmoor about a month or so ago. The staff was very nice. We’re very happy with it. It’s just a little bit too small for us right now.

Broadmor was very impressive and of good location. The staff was really great. It’s more like apartments. It is independent living, and I like the rooms. They hire someone separately if you need help. They have very good amenities there. The dining area was very impressive; it was clean and very nice. It’s in a great location, right in the middle of the city. (There are) lots of activities for the people to do if they have a car.

We liked The Broadmoor in San Francisco. Its location was directly in the city center, which was very attractive as my husband and I live in the city. The facility was a bit dated, but the location was great. The rooms were a little dark.

I found a place for my mom and she is very happy at The Broadmoor. The facility is close to me. I thought it was a really great value for the money. I have been in the facility and I thought that the facility is superior to all the others I have seen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a privately owned place. They have three registered nurses assistants covering seven days a week. The food is really excellent and that's important to my mother. The social activities were really good; she is very happy with the activities. They are interest in making the place a nice place to live. They just need to be more handicapped friendly. My mother is a little bit mobility-challenged and it's a little bit difficult for her to tour around the place.
