My aunt is staying at Asbury Park Nursing & Rehab. It's a recovery place. It's noisy and something that nobody wants to be there. It's a little bit chaotic, but it's okay. It's not ideal, but it's the only place that will take people with physical and mental disorders. Her room is small. She said the food was okay and it was hospital food. They can improve on the cleanliness and overall, the noise. If I were there, I don't think I could recover from anything there.

My husband had increasing dementia and Parkinson’s. We were very impressed with the quality of care and the thoughtfulness and competence of staff. Not our first choice until we were actually there. Asbury became our first choice.

After dealing with them for 2+ weeks so far I can only assume that they are fabulists or incompetents, if not both. Their refusal to let my family speak to or visit my father and refusal to offer explanations is disturbing. The fact that each and every person you speak to will tell you a different story makes me question their truthfulness, their competency and my father's safety. I would NEVER recommend this place as there is no honesty or communication!

There's a sign at the sign in sheet area that says IF YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID PLEASE WRITE NO so we're supposed to lie? Not okay at all for a facility to post that. Some CNAs are helpful some not at all. Nurse Chance is the best. Rooms are kinda dirty

We had an intellectually disabled cousin do rehab here following knee surgery. The facility was clean and the staff professional. Many activities that kept her busy and made her stay pleasant.

My father was in 2 other facilities and by far Asbury Park was his best stay and therapy services! The staff was caring, professional and he loved the food. They made special accommodations to his food preferences and would bring him a newspaper every morning. Thank you Asbury Park for the care you gave my dad.

I am a current patient & would like the public to know that, in my opinion, the staff here is well skilled & very committed to their Short Term patients. The staff is pleasant & friendly, & is very committed to their patients.. As with all SNF's, their patient load limits their response time to patient requests/calls for assistance. But respond, they will, to the needs of their patients.

I would NOT put anyone in this facility! It smells, there are only a few people on staff that really care and go the extra mile for your care and if they aren't on - then you'll have to defend for yourself. it took almost a month for me to get a shower and Rehab therapy,,, what a JOKE! it isn't located in the main facility- you have to be taken to another building by way of going outside. Needless to say... I got wheeled out once the whole time I was there to just have them leave me and NO therapy at all. They DO NOT CARE... So, PLEASE be very careful if you or you know of someone that is in here. I wouldn't give this any stars but, had to to be able to submit. But, then again... for those very few that did give me help, it is for you.

Let me just start by saying Asbury Park was one of the worst and most unprofessional facilities I have ever had had the displeasure of visiting. As soon as I observed the state of disrepair and dysfunction that Asbury Park was in I immediately proceeded to remove my grandfather from this horrible place. The staff is rude and disinterested. The grounds are not being maintained and from what I observed the residents tend to be ignored and they're left to pretty much look after themselves. How a place like this is still in business I will never know. There are many quality assisted living facilities in Sacramento, I'm sorry to say that Asbury Parks is definitely not one. I asked my grandfather what he thought. He told me he couldn't sleep at night because of all the screaming. Apparently the staff ignores some of the patients. How do they have the audacity to run a business this way?

This facility has vastly improved over the past five years, making tremendous improvements from a below average record with several areas of concern to high quality performance now that sparkles with care and efficiency, with a professional staff of administrators and caregivers who do not waver from their duties or dedication to the residents. I am very happy that my relative is under their vigilant, kind, and compassionate care.
