About Bianca's Home Care in Riverside, California
This type of setting is excellent for residents who do not want to live in a larger community setting but still require a level of assistance similar to that offered by an Assisted Living or a Nursing Home.
The staff in a residential care home may assist with medications, help residents bathe, get dressed and perform many other daily tasks or activities of daily living.
Because of the homes’ intimate settings, owners can often specialize in particular resident needs such as diabetes care, memory care, residents with special diets, residents who speak a particular language ( for example Romanian), residents of a particular religion or cultural background, as well as other needs.

My mom was a resident of Bianca's Home Care. She had been there for four and a half years. Bianca's Home Care is great, they're fantastic, and they've done a great job with Mom. We didn't anticipate Mom being there that long, but still she was. She's probably borderline Alzheimer's but definitely very advanced dementia and for about the last three years, she didn't really know any of us. Bianca deals with some really kinda difficult people that need a lot of care and attention, so to speak, and there's more in there just like Mom. It is a beautiful home and it is always clean. Bianca is a fantastic cook. I've eaten there numerous times, and the food is fantastic. Anytime I was over there, at whatever time it was being prepared, you can smell it and you're just ready to eat. I just think it's a fantastic place. None of us have any problems with it. It was good, and Mom was always clean. When she needed something, Bianca would always let us know. Mom is well cared for. All of the staffers are great. They're outstanding. A lot of the residents couldn't do activities, and they're pretty much bound to their wheelchairs, and during the day, they would be in their rooms watching TV or reading. They aren't cheap, but we wouldn't hesitate to do it again. We tried taking care of her at home when Dad was still alive and that's what he wanted to do, but that just wore him out and he passed away from that. To me, it's worth every penny that we spent for Mom's care, for not having to worry or have any concerns that we felt we needed to deal with or anything. We looked at numerous homes before we found Bianca's, so we were very lucky with that.

My mom went into Bianca's Home Care a year ago in January 2020. It has been enjoyable, and she is having great care. As far as the premises, the place looks brand new, and I'm always jealous when I go over there and like, 'Oh my gosh, I wish my house looked like that.' For starters, it is in a great location, it is in a gated community, and it is a corner house. Inside, it's immaculate, very sterile and clean, and the facilities are excellent, too. It's a board and care facility, and I would much rather have her there than in an assisted living facility. Bianca has two homes and they're on the same blocks, and my mom has severe dementia, so she would have to have 24/7 care because of her condition, and so there's somebody there all the time and they have caregivers constantly. Also hospice comes on a regular basis to help out as well. I try to go over there Sunday morning between 11 and 12, and before I leave, lunch is often served and I get to see what she's eating and there have been times I said, 'Oh my goodness, can I hire you to fix my lunch?' They do a lot of soups and they just have regular meals, but my mom is fed really well, and she eats really well there, so the food is really good. They have a wonderful place. It's kinda an open floor plan with a family room, a dining room, and a kitchen area, and there is a beautiful kitchen-dining room area with stone, marble or granite countertops, and it is a large area for fixing the meals. My mom would be in the family room in a wheelchair and so the caregiver is right there. Another thing that's nice about it is that there's not that many people there, so it is a much safer place in terms of the Covid epidemic. There's not many staff because there's only a couple of people there and sometimes three, but when I go over there, the staff is very friendly. As far as the price, it's excellent. It's a beautiful home, and it's stellar.

My aunt passed away in August but she was a resident at Bianca's Home Care for four years. It was great. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I would recommend Bianca to anyone. To me, she saved my aunt's life a couple of times. My mom was there for over a year, too. I was there six or seven days a week, it was just as little as half an hour to several hours, but I always felt Bianca took care of them and all the residents that were also there. The rooms were very nice. The hospital beds were in there already, so that was really helpful. My mom and my aunt were both in a 2-patient room. My mom had a TV, and it was always clean. Bianca was always very receptive to anything that I wanted. After my aunt came out of rehab, she went to Bianca's Home Care, and it was such a blessing. It is big, beautiful, and clean, and I was happy with the care.
