Food is the cheapest possible. If you do not have family visiting regularly, patient can be ignored for long period of time. Most receptionists try to Be pleasant but they are ineffective. Frequently, the nurse stations do not answer the phones. Most of the CNA’s are defensive and are frequently slow to attend to patient’s needs.

If I could give this a BIG 0 ZERO, I would. I made an appt to see my mother-in-law drove 80-mile round trip only to arrive there and them to tell me they overbooked and I should wait in the car. I NEVER SAW MY MIL, and I will NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AGAIN. The girl at the front desk is a deer in headlights, and She did not apologize for the mess up; she had an "OH WELL" attitude about it. Sickening how they treat the people who come to see their loved ones. I hope you NEVER have to take you loved ones there, cuz you probably won't get to see them.

The most unprofessional Nursing Facility I have dealt with in a long time. administrator does not have voicemail so you can never leave a message. The social work team is unprofessional and untrained. No one has visited my father in the last two days. He has no idea where he's at. Because no one has taken the time to get to know who he is and what his needs are. No one provides resource information or returns calls.

I wouldn’t recommend Woodland Care Center to anybody. When the patient calls them, they don’t come very quickly. My husband was in there for a while, and he was supposed to have PT, but they kept saying tomorrow. They must be more attentive. The rooms were OK and clean, but the food was poor.

Don't let your loved ones go here. Our mother who is 91 went in ill. Came out with a fungal infection, feet so swollen no slippers would fit from being trapped in a wheelchair too much. The endless calls that had nothing to do with our mother to be told "Sorry wrong patient". After a week of being there we then found out they had not been giving her medication because the nursing home had not sent them with her. The day we finally got her out of this house of horrors we called in a doctor who immediately put her on hospice care. They don't have enough staff to handle all the patients. Each time we went there they didn't even know where she was. When we found her they had her stuck in a wheelchair sitting at the dining room table with all the other patients who could not speak for themselves. No water. Nothing. They just sat there. The whole time we were there. I would not take a dog there.

I like this facility is because we can coming for visit anytime of the day and we can bring in foods for our relative and feed them. The staffs are very friendly and nice. I saw them many times that they help the elders seem like their own family member. There was one time i witnessed they were helping my grandma doing #2 and #1. They patiently clean up the hold process which make us feel appreciated and confident for our grandma to stay. We have asked our grandma a lot if there were ever happened that any elderly abusive in the facility and she responded "NO". That's the reason why we never transfer our grandma to another facility. Most of the time we stopped by we saw the staffs went around and do the clean up. The only thing we would like the facility to do is to remodel the inside a little bit because it looks kinda old and a little smell.
