We moved my mother-in-law to Bonhurst Assisted Living. It's a home with six residents. It's owned by an RN, and she has 2 homes. This particular home her parents lived in, and my mother-in-law, and they're just sweet. She has her private room, and she's well-taken care of. It's a beautiful home and a beautiful neighborhood. She has her bed and she can put whatever she wants in her room. There's a living room and she can sit out there with the others and watch TV. There's a kitchen, they feed her 3 meals a day and snacks. She can walk around the backyard, they have paths, and they can take her for walks if she wouldn't do it herself. When people visit, they have to give a 24-hour notice so they don't have a bunch of people at one time. We didn't taste the food but it smelt good; she's Filipino and makes great food. The price seems high but it seems normal to all the rest.
