Beware! Lakeshore Residential Care is absolutely awful. My family is in the process of lodging a state complaint based on the cruel treatment my mother received there. My mom has Alzheimer's dementia and when we toured, the director assured us that they could handle her level of need. Within hours of her arrival, my mother was subjected to a level of mistreatment by the director herself that was not only unprofessional, it was downright shocking. My brother and I were blown away with disbelief that a director of a senior citizen facility could be so harsh and mean-spirited. Our mother was there only one evening, thankfully, and now she is in another facility, where she is being treated with dignity and respect. I would never, ever recommend this place, under any circumstance whatsoever.

My mother stayed in Lakeshore Residential Care for 2 weeks. It was a great facility, but it was out of our price range. Her room was way expensive and was much nicer. She had her own private room and her own private bathroom. There is lots of staff and some of them have better work ethics than others.
