The apartments are very nice here at Tesoro Senior Apartments. They just don't have very many activities. They have bingo and they have movie nights. They have a gym and all that stuff, but I'm looking for a place that has a lot more activities. It's in Poster Ranch. The area is very pretty, it's up on a hill, and it has a lot of stuff near it. It has Walmart and a brand-new shopping center with Whole Foods, and a bunch of brand-new restaurants. It has a lot of things right next to it. They don't give any help, like discounts or anything. It's a nice place though. Maybe for some people the activities were fine, but for me, there wasn't that much. The place is very nice and it's well kept up. It's total independent living, so they don't offer meals. It's just basically an apartment complex. I'm in a two-bedroom, it's $2,200, and it's a nice apartment. I don't know what the one-bedrooms and studios are going for. It's very convenient because there are two giant shopping centers just a little down the hill. They're still building and adding more restaurants. It has a movie theater and all kinds of stuff.

The apartments are very nice. You can have your dog & cat for an additional cost. But when you take your pets for a walk you have to be very careful because of the coyotes. I have seen four this year. I have run into a couple skunks. The squirrels are multiplying. It sounds like fun, but they climb the walls and get onto your balcony and leave their poop everywhere. The old management was much better than this new one. I have lived here for 7 years and with the rent so high, I am looking for a new place.
