I love this place, everything about it is nice. The staff is wonderful, specially the administrator because she takes time with everyone to see how they're night went and how they are doing. My favorite activity is playing bingo. The staff is available when you need them and the food is good, specially the spaghetti.

The people at Glen Park of Monrovia seemed friendly and helpful. The facility itself seemed clean and smelled good. The person that did the tour was helpful. He gave me some information that I hadn't had before. So he was open, helpful, and honest. I appreciated the information that he gave me quite a bit. I saw one room where families can visit and gather. They have an outdoor area with tables, when the weather is good (which it often is in Monrovia). They didn't seem to have a lot else that I was aware of. It seemed that they had limited facilities. The rooms were clean though, roomy enough, and comfortable. The cafeteria was very clean as well.

Glen Park of Monrovia is an older facility, with very mix-matched furnishings, it's in the low-end of the facilities that we saw. The staff was very friendly though, but we were very disappointed with their administration who never got back to us. We had to call them three separate times trying to touch base on pricing. A week after our visit, she finally called me back, which we had already selected a place, and we were leaning towards them. That was the first facility we saw, and then once we saw the other ones, by far the other ones outplayed Monrovia. It was closest to our home, but their professionalism was not there, their patients didn't look as well cared for. They weren't dressed as nicely for the day, 'cause many of them had to be dressed by their caregivers, and to me, that's a reflection of the facility. They did not let us see rooms for patients, we only saw staged rooms. The caregiving staff was very friendly. They also did not allow visitors inside due to Covid, and all the other places with guidelines do allow it, which was also a big deciding factor. I get they're being cautious, but everyone else has to take your temperature sanitizing, we had to have our vaccines and all that stuff. They would allow us to be able to come and be with our family member once he does move inside.

I am very comfortable here because they do as much as they can to help me with all my needs. If I have any problems, I can always get assistance from them. I do not participate in many activities but they are good about letting me relax and talk to people.

My room is nice and quiet and I really like the menu options because they give you dessert. I like that I can walk around and talk to people. I also really like the staff because they care about you and I enjoy their company.

I could see the relationship between clients and staff is amazing. Their staff know each clients. They are very caring towards their clients. Their clients seem very happy and families seem very happy as well.They provide nutritious food to their clients. They have different kind of activities. They encourage their residents to participate in activities.

I moved in my loved in to this facility few months ago and I am very impressed with the care they provide. All staff are wonderful and caring. I been to other assisted living, but I have never seen any like this. I would give them 10/10 for providing such a quality care.

I liked the facility very much. When i report something to the Administrator, she resolved my problems right away. Administrator always goes to the dining room and says hi to all residents with smile. She always says something nice to encourage me when i am upset. I love the new menu. I love the food. I love caregivers; they do very great job. They give enough time to help all residents. I am so grateful to this facility. I am glad that i found this facility. The facility is very clean. It is wall maintained.

I visited this facility for a tour and decided to move my family. What a environment they created for their clients. While I was walking in the facility, I saw how happy their clients are. Such a great job. I would recommend this facility to everyone I know.

Wonderful facility. Well cared residents. The facility is so clean and my loved ones seem very happy. He always tells me how happy he is at this facility. Management is very quick in getting back to me. Staff have smile on their face and treat residents so well. My family loves this facility a lot. I hope whoever goes to this facility for the tour choses to move their loved ones because there is no better facility than this when it comes to care, compassion, communication, cleanliness, activities, meal, snacks and administration. They have nurse on staff which makes everything easier for me. This facility is well maintained by new management. I feel safe and secure when I enter this facility.

Excellent facility. All staff are well trained. My mom loves it. This facility is very clean and well organized. My mom is in semi private room. She has more than enough space in her room. I am very pleased with the care this facility has been providing to my mom. My mom is in happy mood all the time since she moved in to this facility. I would recommend this facility to everyone that is looking for someone that truly cares about your loved one.

My wife lived here for a long time. unfortunately,she passed away. i don't know how to appreciate everything they did for my wife. All staff were very helpful and attentive towards residents. i truely thank everyone from my heart for providing such care to my wife. Management was quick to help me with all concerns i had.

Best facility so far. They provide such a wonderful care for residents that have Alzheimer's and Dementia. I know some families complaints for any little thing because they are in denial about their loved one. It is very hard to take care of elderly especially the one with Dementia, but this facility made it totally worth my mom's money. All staff are very attentive towards all residents. I give them 5/5 in everything. Management communicate so well with me in regards to my mother.

My dad was at Glen Park of Monrovia. It was old and had a nostalgic kind of feel to it. The staff was OK. I was there quite often so I was able to pretty much monitor what was going on with my dad. The food was average, it wasn't great, and most of it was bland. They used to have singers and entertainers come in; those were good. However, they definitely didn't have enough activities for their residents.

There are a lot of lies on this place's website. The administrator doesn't know what he's doing. There are almost no activities at glen park monrovia. I think the facility will be sold soon because when my friend left there there was 15 vanancies out of 51 capacity.

My mother has been in Singing Oaks Retirement Community, so I’m familiar with it. I would say it was above average. The girls they hired were very caring and very kind to her. They’re a 2-story and probably have a good 20 rooms. They have a large area downstairs for recreation and television, and they have two huge dining rooms. When they’d have a party, we’d go over and try to get my mother to participate. The food was very good; she has liked the food, and they feed her extremely well.

We chose Glen Park at Monrovia because of the location, the cost, and the services. We had been there a couple of times, and the staff was very attentive to the residents there and seemed to be well trained. The administrator was most helpful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them. We ate there once, and the food was fine.

Singing Oaks Retirement Community was an older facility. They had one bedroom apartments. The price was too much for what they offered. The activity rooms were small. Although I saw they had a couple of big screen televisions. The food was bland and tasteless.
