My mother was a resident of mom and dads house for less than a month of June 2021. We brought to Ivonne’s attention the many extension cords in the room on the floor that were a safety concern to us. We also had concerns about one of the workers who we found out wasn’t vaccinated as we had been assured no one could enter the house that wasn’t vaccinated. My mother went to the Doctor for an evaluation after Ivonne suggested we get her medications evaluated. Upon my mothers return Ivonne reused to let my mother return. My mother was 99 years old, bedridden and in a diaper. We did contact Social Services and filed 2 complaints about Ivonne and her facility. Both were substantiated. We had a horrible heartbreaking experience at Mom and dads house I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Do your homework before placing your loved one.

The one that we’re considering right now is called Mom & Dad's House. They’re wonderful. It’s a great place. I like it. I visited several other facilities that were assisted living and one memory care, and this place is my favorite. I met several staff members. They were very informative. They took me on a tour. They asked me if I had any questions and gave me some written information. They all seemed to be very knowledgeable and really attentive to the other women that were there. There were 5 women that live there. The rooms were very nice. The dining area is a single dining room table, and they eat family style. They only have facilities for 6 people, and they all sit around the table and eat together. I thought the pricing was competitive. It was good pricing. I absolutely recommend this place to others.

I have nothing but the highest praises for this facility and the staff. My Mother was a resident there until her recent passing. I was so very impressed with the warmth and coziness of the house and the staff. I felt so comfortable knowing that my Mom was eating well and was well taken care of. Ivonne and her staff were so helpful and kind to my Mom and our family not only with helping with the move to the site but once my Mom passed showing compassion and concern as we were going through a tough time.. Ivonne is a saint. My only regret is that we should have moved her there sooner. I highly recommend Mom and Dad's House to anyone who is considering TRUE care of their loved one. You will not be disappointed.

Having my mother-in-law at Mom and Dad’s House gives our family such peace of mind, because we know she is safe and so well cared for. The house is always clean and inviting, the people who care for the residents are patient and experienced in working with the elderly. The owners, Ivonne and Matt, are very hands-on and work hard to give the residents lots of activities during the week and also with family members. I wish I had a place like Mom and Dad’s house for my mother in the few years before she passed away instead of a traditional skilled nursing facility. I highly recommend Mom and Dad’s House if you’re looking for a home environment for your loved one that will provide excellent, loving care every day.

GODSEND. The best word to describe the caring, loving, friendly,spotless-ly clean home care at this place. My elderly aunt could no longer live at home due to many physical challenges (and a little confusion, too)..and I searched all over the southern Cal area for a board and care -- and this was almost the only one I would have considered. At this house, residents are treated with respect and dignity, and cared for with attention. The owners and staff make extra effort; tea party for Mother's Day, holiday decorations, visiting art teacher, pets can visit, etc. The rooms are light, airy and cleaned many times throughout the day. There are two separate common areas to use for visits, plus a patio. The vibe is always upbeat, the staff never seems to feel the burden of this challenging work. It's fantastic. My aunt has settled in and we are both so very pleased to have finally found a new "home" for her next decade. :)
