My husband was resident of Rising Star Care Home. When I met James, the person in charge, I really liked him; he's a really nice person. He took care of my husband. They all took care of my husband really good. We did have good attendance there; they were attending to him. My husband was bedridden, so he only a few months there, but it was because my husband had dementia and Alzheimer's. He wouldn't let them do stuff for him, but they were great with him. It was very clean and it didn't have an odor. Whenever I went there it was clean, no smell. In other places I had checked before, they had that. For the meal service, I wasn't there because of COVID and I was only allowed one day every two weeks to visit, but he would tell me what he had, and it sounded good. They do have some stuff for them to do there, but like I said, he had dementia and Alzheimer's, and it was hard to work with him.
