My husband was at Eden Healthcare Center for rehab. The staff and the care were fine. They were limited in the amounts that they had, and as a result, limited in what they could do, but they were good. My husband's room was a shared one. Aside from therapy they also took him for a walk outside the building almost daily, so that was good. The location was kind of far from me, but it was OK because I chose that one. It was easy to get to once you knew where it was, but it wasn't close.

Don't send your lover here. The administrator has very bad heart. I regret to send my mom here. My mom is not a mentally ill, they tried to force sending my mom to a mental hospital because she doesn't like to have a roommate. after i complained. The administrator moved a severe mentally ill and aggressive patients to be my mom's roommate. I have to report these horrible events to State and let all people know what they did to their patients.

After leaving Kaiser Hospital with a stroke, my mother-in-law was transferred to Parkview Health Care Center in Hayward, CA. My husband and I were told that her stroke was mild. When we arrived, she had visible signs of a more serious stroke. They were going to transfer to the long-term side of the facility. We signed papers. That evening my husband went to visit her alone. We got a call early AM that she was sent by ambulance to Kaiser on oxygen, non-responsive. They did not read her chart that she was DNR. My husband had to make the horrible decision which she did not want to happen, to take her off all efforts to keep her alive. She was brain dead. So, her mild stroke lead her to death in a 24-hour period.
