My sister is in Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was highly rated. I looked online and it seemed to have a very high rating. I know the area and it's a very nice facility from what I've seen and the staff there has been very good. Her room is brand new, but it's been renovated and she was the first person to be there. It's a very clean facility. She has a beautiful large window with a view of trees. She requires quite a bit of work. She's incontinent and she's not able to walk. The staff is very accommodating. Any requests I had, they would follow through with it. She's only been there two days. When she was admitted, it was in the evening because they didn't release her from the other place until almost 7:00 at night. The director was there until the night, very late, helping us with paperwork and trying to get the social workers there to give us the documents needed to complete our contract. This lady is just amazing and above and beyond because she made her assessment herself. She went down to assess my sister to see what would be necessary. I can't say enough. She was remarkable. We started very early in the morning talking with her. We discussed things, and she tried to get information from different people there, the caseworkers, social workers, and nurses. The dining area is very nice, and the facility is nice. As far as the food, they haven't quite got her diet the way she would like. I did mention it last night to the assistant. I specified what she'd like to have for her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They said they'd take care of it. It's a very clean facility. The staff is pleasant. It's been a trying experience, to say the least, but Kelly has been resourceful, trying to get the information. It was amazing what she did, so I highly recommend her and the executive director and I recommend Vista Blue. It's a very lovely place. They have different activities. They have several things that they do. They can even take outings, but my focus is pretty much on my sister's care. I gather that sometimes they have people come in and play the piano or do singing, a kind of live entertainment. They also have games and different things. They have nice areas and the people that I've seen there seemed to be very content, happy and sociable with each other. From that point of view, I think it's pleasant. Value for money is good.

We went to the Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was kind of an older facility and probably needs a little facelift along the way pretty soon. Overall, though, I think it would be a safe and a good place for a person. The staff was very nice. The person that we were supposed to see got tied up with another group, took a little bit longer, and then they filled in with another person, and that person was excellent. It just needs like a coat of pain. It just needs a little bit of sprucing up. I think it's showing its wear a little bit. It is a very safe neighborhood, but it had kind of an ugly way to get to it. They have kind of a fire access road type thing to get to it, but that really isn't a downfall, it's just the way everything is kind of arranged.

I toured Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care. The remodel was very nice; they had a lot of decorations. They have a lot of activities going on. The director who showed us around was very bubbly and fun, knew everybody's name, and was very informative. I liked the grounds; in the middle, there's a big courtyard. They have Daily Chronicle every morning. You have church services, bingo, exercises, a podiatrist comes and visits, transportation, and a hairstylist.

Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care was fantastic. The rooms were great. The receptionist out in front was very, very cordial and very helpful. The director there was Kelly, and she was very, very helpful and she showed me around the facility. I didn't have to ask to see the facility; she just took me down. We toured a couple of rooms and stuff and it was just great. If I had to recommend one, I would recommend them. It would be a good place for my husband because they had CNAs in there and they would take good care of him, but because of the finances, I couldn't put him there. The place was very clean and I had seen a lot of the residents walking around, and they all seemed happy. It was a good place. The rooms were very nice. They had a small refrigerator there and it's as if the person was moving into an apartment. A lot of the things have to be furnished, but they have a setup for the cable. The cable company will supply the cable box for nothing and the facility pays the monthly bill. They have a very nice dining room. They have CNAs and RNs there. I think the RN is there 24/7. They have their doctors and they use three different hospitals in case of an emergency. They also have maid service there. Housekeepers come in once or twice a week. Kelly was very cordial. She took down all the information and she helped as much as she could. The tour was very casual and very informative. She showed me two rooms. They had one room that was in the back and one room that was up in the front. I guess she noticed I was having a hard time walking, and she's the one that suggested that I put a $500 hold on the room that was up in front because she said it would be a lot easier for me coming in to see my husband, so I thought that was very nice. They don't have a pool, but I believe there was a courtyard there. The place looked brand new and very well kept. If my husband had stayed the way he was the last time I'd seen him in the hospital, that would've been a good place for him. The room we had seen had a little patio. We could open the sliding glass doors and there was a little patio there. When you go into the driveway, you can see these little balconies and it looked like people had patio furniture and stuff on them. It was a very, very nice place. I would recommend it to anybody that could afford it.

Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care is an old facility, but it's not bad. I just saw a couple of rooms, and they were nice and spacious. The staff during the tour was good. I liked her. She was knowledgeable in answering my questions. I pretty much just saw the front of it. The main thing they showed me was the rooms, but it's nice and well kept from the outside. It looked like an apartment building.

Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care was very friendly. The activity lady was very bubbly. We did meet her. She was very nice. Residents seemed very pleasant. It was a nice place, and it was one of them that we did consider. The way the room was designed, the bathroom was in the middle. Instead of one of the ends, so that just didn't sit well with us. The staff was very pleasant, very friendly, and outgoing. The room had a little kitchen area in it, which was very nice. The dining area was very pleasant. It was restaurant style, you get options. They have an outside gathering area. The facility was not too old. It was fairly new. They had movies also. They had an exercise room, libraries, and puzzle rooms.

My mother is at Vista Blue Assisted Living & Memory Care. She is doing well. Everybody is very caring and very attentive to the patients' care. They've been very helpful to my mother. She has been there for four months now. She has a small studio. They have different types of rooms, but what was available at the time was a one-bedroom studio. It is in the facility, so she could face the courtyard. They have different activities. Their activity director is very good. Every holiday or every special event that they think is important, they will have the whole facility involved including the memory area. Everybody gets involved and the patients are included and they have a good time. Because of COVID, it was a little bit harder because they didn't have the opportunity to have everybody engaged, but now they're getting better at engaging the people that are there and the people that come and visit their loved ones.

My mom was having a hard time adjusting at Vista Blue Mountain. They seem to be very understanding of her disposition at the time. I only met 2 staff members. They were really good, very thoughtful, and knowledgeable. My mom has been to their bingo. It was very clean. It's very easy to get to her room. She had a little balcony and air-conditioning. I would want to move in. From what I understand from my brother, they're also financially doable. It's close to the freeway. It's close to the hospital. Since she's already been to the hospital, it seems to be a good location.

I really liked it. The people were very friendly and very helpful. I saw the interaction of the staff members with their residents and they seemed to be having a very good time. I especially liked their room because of their shower facility for the patients. You can wheel in with a wheelchair and move into a seat. It didn't have a curb, so that was really nice. I really appreciated that part of it. It was also more in tune with what I wanted to spend. I was impressed by how jovial the staff was, and how they interacted with their residents.

My sister-in-law is in memory care. It's wonderful, and she has absolutely blossomed there. She is doing very well and they make every effort to give her things to do to keep her occupied and she seems very pleased. She's integrated with the staff and with the other people there. I saw her reading to the residents from a newspaper, and they were all very attentive and seemed very happy. It's really a good place. They keep her looking nice. I would recommend people to go there. They had a Mother's Day luncheon, and the food was very good. It's clean, freshly painted, nice carpet, and welcoming. They have a nice courtyard in the center. It's much more like a hotel rather than a typical convalescent hospital. They play the piano, they have bingo, happy hour on Friday nights, musicians and entertainment, and field trips for people who are able to go.

My uncle lives here and I love it; they're really nice. Everything is nice, they're good people, and everything is wonderful over there. I had a meal there, but they changed their cook and now they have a new one. They have all kinds of activities like bingo, games, and stuff like that. They have movies, and they have music and stuff. He loves it, so everything is good.

I visited and the staff was wonderful. However, it was not the right fit for my mom. My mom has memory care issues, and the area where she would have been placed felt to me more like a mental hospital, and I was not comfortable with that. The dining area seemed fine and spacious. There was availability for the people to do stuff in there. However, there didn't seem to be any outdoor areas for the clients to visit. It was a little bit isolated and felt that way; that's the part about it that I was not comfortable with for my mom.

My mom has been here since May 9. She is in assisted living in a little studio apartment, and I believe that she is being taken care of. The staff has been very good with her. They have daily activities on a board that tells people what is happening when; there is always something to do. They have exercise programs.

I like the fact that it is an accountable facility for staff and management. Everything there is pretty spot on. It’s a small community with only 76 residents, which I like. So far, we have had a better experience here than we had for three years in another facility. Mom's apartment is a Friendship Suite, so she has a roommate in a separate bedroom, but they share a bathroom. They have ice cream socials, shopping excursions, go out to lunch once a week, play bingo, and do some other activities. There is someone who does haircutting and hairstyling for the residents. I am very happy with the work ethics of the staff. We’re really happy with this facility. They know their residents. It’s a very homey and welcoming community.

It was nice, but I won’t be able to fit in two bedrooms. I saw one apartment that was getting cleaned up. The staff was nice and helpful.

I visited and it was favorable. It seemed very nice. My only objection to them was that they seemed to want too much medical information, as if you’re going into a skilled nursing facility. However, their rooms were adequate, and they were quite nice.

We looked here. We liked most the attitude of the woman who gave us the tour. She was very helpful in answering all my dad's questions and showing him the advantages of being in the care home and the activities like bingo and cards. The apartments were beautiful, well designed, and functional, and it had a good flow to them. I like the place a lot, and it had a lot to offer.

I visited, and it seems clean. The staff seemed friendly, but I wasn’t really taken with the facility. It is basically a nicely size motel room, and I know my father would not be interested in it. She also took me upstairs in the memory ward, and that was nice; it seemed like they really had that situation under control. They seemed to be caring and secured environment, and from what I could see, it appeared very clean and cheerful; it was bright and airy.

I do have my dad in here now. Their rooms/apartments are very nice. They're clean. They have three different sizes, and I was able to put my dad in a little studio. He says the food is good. He gets three square meals and snacks everyday. They have outings, and they have a visiting doctor. I have no complaints with the staff. They all seem pretty friendly.

It was very nice. They seemed accommodating. They would take my brother and sister-in-law to doctor's appointments and things. It seems like they would have been a good fit. I think that they were adequate although I didn't think that they were special. The staff that I met was very friendly and knowledgeable. The dining area was a bit of a problem because it was a bit far. I just wasn't sure my sister-in-law would be able to walk that far with her walker.

The facilities and the activities that they have for the seniors were all very nice. It's a nice setup and very spacious. The staff was nice and very positive. They try stuff to make them feel comfortable. They acknowledge them when they are walking and knew their names. They interact with them.

It was very nice. I liked the dining room in particular and it had a nice open ceiling like a skylight, which gave it a warm and congenial atmosphere. The whole building was very nice. The staff was good. Their studio and one-bedroom units were small, but their two-bedroom units were adequate.

I checked out Emeritus at Grand Terrace with a friend but it was too expensive for me. I have a limited income and that was a problem. However this facility is very nice. They provide three meals a day, a ride and everything. The facility itself is very clean. It is a square building with a garden on the inside so people would be protected if they were out in the yard. That area was beautiful. Their staff was very nice and friendly. They have all kinds of activities and nice programs for their residents. Also their food was excellent and you have a lot of choice. Their rooms were beautiful but small and that was kind of what turned us off. The room that we saw was just one room, it had its own bathroom, but it was not even a square room where one area you have the bed and the other area you have a couch and a TV.

The staff at Emeritus at Grand Terrace is nice. They take care of my dad, clean him up and feed him. The environment is also nice. My dad has his own room with his own kitchen and bathroom. They have bingo which he loves and other activities.

It was an older building and the hallways were not wide. But I like the people there. They were nice and kind. In their shared living facility, each person had their own bedroom and then in the middle was the living area and that was fabulous. The only problem was the doorway was not wide enough and my wheel chair couldn't go through.

It did have a locked down unit for Alzheimer's patients. They also have an activity room, and they provide transportation outside where they can do outside activities. When we were there and we toured around, we saw staff and we actually went down into the locked down facility because dad was there for a short period of time. It was fine.

I have visited this facility twice for possible memory care placement for my mother. On both visits the staff and residents were very friendly. In the memory unit the staff was working with the residents on activities. There are many planned activities that are designed specifically for memory care residents. The staff and program focuses on working within the residents AD world rather than making them work in the staffs world. I was very impressed and plan to this facility for respite care and future placement.
