This facility has excellent and caregivers and is very well run. I moved my husband here to the memory care cottage and he is happy, safe and calm. I highly recommend Sunrise. It is way better than the other faculty we tried first.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest was very pleasant. The rooms were very nice. They have a cottage style where there are a few rooms around the central dining room. That was a very, very nice arrangement. They have a lot of activities that occur, not necessarily daily, but they have activities where they get the residents together to do crafts and they have a bus where they take them out to go on a drive or some of the people, if they want to get out, they go to a shopping center. We had food there and it was good. There was a menu and you could choose. The facility was excellent

Sunrise at Canyon Crest was great. They took us through the place. We sat in the office and talked with the gals. The rooms were just kind of small, but it had two beds in it and the grounds and everything were very nicely done. They had a nice little fireplace going and a fish tank. It seemed calm and organized. The memory care facility looked good and sufficient. The lady explained everything well.

We toured Sunrise at Canyon Crest. They have nice cottages. They have some nice landscaping. It's a nice facility. It's clean and well decorated. We like the cottage layout because there would be fewer people to get to know. It's also a close walk from the apartments to the dining room and to the activities. Also there were really good floor plans to choose from. The staff who assisted me was very nice.

I had an in-person tour of Sunrise at Canyon Crest. Everything was as it said in the brochure. It was wonderful. I just don't think my mom would have made it there because she wanted a single room, and there wasn't anything available at that time. But other than that, it was beautiful. They had a really nice group setting that I think my mom would have enjoyed, but she just didn't want to go. I love the place. I thought it would be perfect for my mom. The staff was very helpful. She answered every question I had and gave me every bit of information that I could have ever used. The lady was great. The one empty room that they showed me was a room for a single person, but it wasn't available. I think there was a refrigerator in the room. The upkeep was really great.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest is absolutely beautiful. I love everything about it. They have three cottages, so it is very intimate. You don't feel like you're in a big hospital or anything. It's just a really, really nice community. You walk in and there is a fireplace, fresh flowers on the table, and everything is very clean and nice. It has really pretty grounds. They are still very strict on the COVID regulations. Amy was the one that took us around and she was very nice. They all treated us really well. You have a choice of a studio or a one-bedroom apartment, and I think they may have larger ones. The one-bedroom is really cute. You could bring your own furniture. There's a nice little bedroom and a bathroom, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. You could put a little table and chairs in there. There's also room for a couch. It has nice views out the window, and it's very secluded and very nice. They have everything that you would want, like manicures and a hair salon. The dining area is restaurant style. You come in, you sit down, and they take your order. They even have beer and wine, and really fancy desserts.

I visited Sunrise at Canyon Crest and it was beautiful and very, very pretty. It was very airy and spacious and with very nice décor. The place is for someone more active than my people were. I looked at their assisted living facility and everything was nice, the rooms were fairly spacious, very nicely decorated, and had a lot of light. The main areas, the public areas, are also beautifully decorated. There are also a lot of people moving around. They offer a broad range of activities but because the pandemic was still underway, most of them were canceled. They seemed to be busy but friendly. The staff person who gave me a tour was very knowledgeable and I was impressed. It just wasn't the right place for my people.

I highly recommend Sunrise at Canyon Crest. They were wonderful people. That is a five-star facility. It was excellent, the staff was fantastic. It was on top of our list. It was that nice. If circumstances had been different, it would have been one of our number one choices. They were doing bingo. They also had a great library to browse books. They were playing games. They had different events going on, and we didn't get a chance to go over all the events, but the residents looked very, very happy. The rooms were beautiful, they were clean, well-designed, and the color schemes were good. It was just a beautiful place.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest was a great place. I liked it. It was a nice tour. I would recommend it to anyone else. The staff was great, very helpful, and very knowledgeable, and she showed us a lot of things. She answered all of our questions. They have invited us back sometime on a weekend for lunch to bring my dad and have lunch there. They were in the middle of having dinner, so we weren't able to taste any of the food, but it looked good. The grounds were manicured well, the landscape, the outside, and they had a patio area in the back. Everything was clean. We were only able to see a couple of vacant rooms, so there was no furniture in there, but they were fairly decent and large. They were also allowed to share a room. I would stay there if I could. They showed both assisted living and memory care to us.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest was a very nice assisted living facility, but I'm just a little put off by what we had to jump through to get in. When we went up there, the doors were locked. There was a thing that said 'Push' for entrance. I kept pushing it, but it wouldn't open. Finally, someone came to the door and opened it for us. We were both wearing masks, but they insisted that we put one of their masks on in addition. Physically, it was a very nice facility. It was beautiful and really well-maintained. I just didn't get as much positive vibe off their staff, as I did the staff at the other places. They just didn't seem as interested in helping us as in the other places. The place is also a little pricey.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest was very secure. This place was very friendly. It's done in three buildings with smaller groups of people and a smaller group of eating areas. The food smelled good, and they had a nice fireplace when you first walked in. They could not guarantee a respite placement because they're smaller. They could say maybe like two weeks out for what we needed; that's way too short of time. The staff is a very friendly, very pleasant, very lovely lady, and very, very nice. They have movie night. I do remember seeing that they had popcorn. It's a smaller group of people, so the activities were a little smaller. It was Christian based. It's an older building, but it's kept up very nice there. They were remodeling things and trying to keep things up to date. From the outside, it looked very nice. The inside looked cramped, but well-kept.

I would give Sunrise at Canyon Crest a five in all respects. I went to a unit where there were people, and I saw what their routine was like. I saw more than one room, and I got plenty of information about the routine, so it was good in all respects. You had your choice of apartment. They had private and shared. They showed me the menu and the dining area, and they showed me clients, so it was all quite favorable. They keep the place very small. They don't want to make it institutional.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest is beautiful and well-staffed. The staff has been there a number of years, so they seem very dedicated to that facility. Amy, the person who gave us the tour, was phenomenal and gave us a ton of information. She was very interested in what my mother's needs are and her interests. It seems like they take a very one-on-one individual approach to each patient to figure out what they need specifically. The facility is beautiful, and it was clean. You could smell food cooking. It was not one of those situations where you walk in and it doesn't smell good. It's very homey, and it's just a very lovely environment inside and out. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and very professional. I saw a couple of patients walking outside with their caregivers, because it was a beautiful day. Amy described the outings that they were going to begin to start again, the little local shopping trips, lunch breaks, and a lot of fun activities. They're getting ready to get back into full swing. I was very, very impressed.

Because of Covid, my tour of Sunrise at Canyon Crest was limited, but I would give the room a 4 out of 5 and the dining area a 4 out of 5. The dining area seemed restaurant type. The rooms were smaller than I wanted it to be, the kitchen area was small, but the bathroom was okay, and they were clean. The staff was friendly.

We visited Sunrise at Canyon Crest. It was very clean. The rooms were very well appointed. If someone was physically handicapped, it would be very easy to get around. The staff members we met were all very nice and very forthcoming. One interesting fact was that these were long-term employees, so it's not like they had a big turnover. That was impressive. We were inquiring for respite care for my mom. Right now, because of COVID, they were limited in what they could do, so we really didn't go into their activities. Just the fact that we were looking into respite and not really long term, they really didn't discuss activities too much other than they had movies. The living atmosphere was friendly, open, clean, and quiet. It was like going into someone's home. The staff member was very knowledgeable. She went into a lot of things.

I went to Sunrise at Canyon Crest. The only thing that comes to mind is how expensive the place is. That knocked me over. It was very clean and very beautiful. The staff members were very nice and informative. They had a very nice and very clean dining area. They had a decent menu. It was a premiere place.

Sunrise was really nice. The staff who took us around was friendly and explained everything. The price was comparable. It was bigger for my mom, but I didn't like it for the memory care.

Mom has been in Sunrise at Canyon Crest for over a year now; their services and professionalism have degraded. The rooms are pretty small, and I believe they are understaffed. We requested assistance for my mom, and it took well over 30 minutes for anybody to acknowledge that she even requested assistance.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest looked presentable and nice. The room was like a studio apartment, but it was not what my sister needs. The staff was very sociable and very informative. They were really trying to help. The rooms were perfect, but it was not the environment that I wanted for my sister.

At Sunrise, I liked the fact that they do everything for you. I was happy with it. They were really great and showed me around. The apartment was nice. The laundry area was fine, but I’m used to having the laundry in my own place, so that was a little off-putting.

We liked Sunrise at Canyon Crest. It was expensive, but the thing that I liked about it was the longevity of the staff -- how long they worked there really impressed me -- and the level of care that they provide. They told me that no matter what condition my mother was in, they would see her through until the end. I also liked the feel of the facility. It was homey. They had it set up in small units so it was more of a smaller community. This is where I'd like for her to go. The rooms were not as spacious. That was the only downfall, but everything else was not comparable to anywhere else. If a person can afford it, I would recommend it.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest is so nice. If I had the money, I would put my mother here. This would have been my first although they did not take Medicare. The facility is beautiful. It seems like you are going on a vacation. Everything is clean. The rooms are beautiful. The inside is gorgeous. You are like stepping into a five star hotel. That is how nice it is. The lady that assisted me was very sweet. She was the one that gave me a lot of different numbers and different places to check out.

I went to Sunrise at Canyon Crest. I wasn't too impressed with it. It was OK, but the food didn't look that appetizing. It wasn't the right spot for my dad. The rooms were OK, but I wasn't that impressed with this facility, so I just stopped the tour. It wasn't a good fit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable though.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest had a wonderful staff, and they were very caring. If there were any issues, they'd call and let us know. My friend's mother was in the Alzheimer's unit which had just bedrooms. It had a common eating place, which was very nice. It was set up restaurant style so that people could visit with other people. They had chair exercises, chair dancing, and tea parties. I certainly would recommend this facility, but it is probably not affordable for everybody. I liked best the care.

Sunrise at Canyon Crest is absolutely perfect; it’s so relaxed there and they have coziness the minute you walked in. They have rooms, and a little cove off of the center of the main building so all around there are little clusters of bedrooms and a short hallway that would have three or four bedrooms so that you are close to the center all the time. In that big center is a living room, several little places to eat, plus a larger dining room with tables that seats maybe 10 people, windowed little side room, and windows to the inside too so it’s wide open that way. If you want to meet with a group or have a birthday party or something, you could be off to the side. It was just wonderful and also had memory care. What I like most in this community is their togetherness. While we were there walking through the central area, there were people wandering curious, and it’s just a very cozy feeling. The sofas looked warm and inviting with pillows and this is where we want to go.

I chose Sunrise because I liked the people. But they had a lady manager who was managing me. She was not so nice, but the others seemed very nice. You’re not gonna like this, but I was there for two weeks and they won’t give me back my walker. So I wasn’t really pleased. I was also under problems because they would not let me have my grab bar, which means I can’t get up in bed. But I got my refund back, that was nice. The buildings were attractive. I was not engaged in any activities particularly, but they had one that was kind of nice. Somebody was coming in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They had some people come in and play music for us.

Our favorite facility that we visited was Sunrise at Canyon Crest. This is a smaller facility, just one story, and everything was based in a circle. They made a requirement that the residents should tend at least one or two a week of the activities, which we liked because my mother-in-law tends to be more withdrawn, and she probably would lock herself in her room. So we kind of like that because that would help her get out. The people there were very friendly. I ended up having a talk to a lady who lives there, and she was ranting about how amazing the food was.

Sunrise was very good. The facility had a homey feel. They had four or five self-contained facilities with smaller number of occupants and were in a higher level of care. I liked and was most impressed with the staff. They had larger rooms. They had activities like exercise class. I would recommend them to others.

This residence is very clean and homey. The food is tasty and nutritious. There are lots of activities to keep residents active, alert, and genuinely productive. For example, the kitchen serves produce which the residents grow. The staff is accommodating. When visiting cottage 3, which is designated for residents with severe cognitive impairment who might wander, I noticed that the residents were all clean, dressed, and up and about. They seemed quite content.

My experience with this assisted living provider was always pleasant. The accommodation was ideal, with each person receiving their own room and only about 10-15 people per 'cottage'. There would be group activities such as crafts or exercising in the main house to encourage inter-cottage relationships. The staff was always pleasant and helpful and there was a small medical team, dentist, and beautician on site. There was also a free shuttle service for those who were able and wanting to go shopping. All food was made on-site in view of the residents of each cottage. Each meal was healthy and balanced with several options per meal. On site were also several 'lock-down' cottages to house those with dementia. Despite not being let outside unsupervised, these cottages worked just like the rest with no difference in care or aptitude of the staff. Staff was always around to help and answer questions for both family members and residents.

The facility was clean and has good welcoming vibe. The elderly looks comfortable living there. The location was good it was near a sloped road, but it seems secured. They have programs that seems to stimulate older people. This is I think very important for an assisted living home. Since, most of them are bored and needs things to do. They have allotted time to socialize and the staff are very friendly. It seems like the people that are working there are knowledgeable of what to do incase of emergency. I think this is a good place for an elderly to be in. Although, it is near riverside. The place seemed very safe. They are also, near commercial areas. So, that's a good thing.

When attending Sunrise Assisted Living, I provided donated blankets to the seniors living there. In my short visit there (only a few hours), I noticed that the staff at assisted living was very kind and helpful, not only to the individuals living there, but to those who visited. Many of the people who lived there were happy and free to go about the rooms without being overly restricted by staff. However, there were no issues and all the residents seemed to enjoy being with the staff, visitors, and each other. It was a great visit and was exemplary in many respects.
