It's been a few weeks since my dad moved into Gordon Lane Care Center for skilled care. The inside of the place looks nice. It has a nice main dining area and an activity area. They also have an outside patio area. The staff seems friendly. They have a calendar with a list of activities. I know they are having movie days and bingo. They also have some other stuff like coffee grinding where they could try different kinds of coffee. I think they said that their cost was about $8,000 a month but I'm not too sure because it's going through the insurance. I would probably say it's a little bit pricey. It's good but I don't think it should be at $8,000.

Think twice before taking your love ones to this place! My brother went there in ok condition and the next morning he had to be hospitalized. He did not get the care he needed. Further more they did not return his much needed CPAP machine. His doctor called Gordon lane, they told him they had it. So someone went to pick it up and they claimed that they don’t know where it is. He had 2 CPAP machines and they were unable to locate them. 6-2-24

My 92 year old Father has been receiving great care at Gordon Lane Care Center since October of 2022. We are beyond grateful to have found Gordon Lane, as they offer 24/7 care with TLC for those who need care, like my Dad. From the caring CNAs’ and loving nursing staff to The Nutritionist, Speach Therapist, Physical Therapists, the physicians, Social Services, Activities Staff, supportive Administration, laundry, etc….my Dad is receiving an army of care which puts my mind at ease. He is truly cared for, and he loves the staff here. The facility is supper clean and has friendly and caring staff. There are other wonderful guests that my Dad has found friendship with there. If I could describe this facility with one word, it’s that they are compassionate, and put the patient first. I can not thank the management and the staff at Gordon Lane enough for being there for my Dad….every day. God bless you all.

My husband was in Gordon Lane Care Center and he had to be out of there in 48 hours when they tell you that Medicare won't be accepted anymore. It's a skilled facility. It's nice. There are some Alzheimer's patients, but it's not strictly Alzheimer's. He fell at home and from home, we went over to the emergency room and then they took him to Gordon Lane and he was checked over just to make sure he was OK. We only had a short time there because he didn't qualify to stay there. That's when the pressure came to find memory care for him. The food there looked good. It's neat, clean, and nice, but they just wouldn't keep him there. There's three in every room and they took him for exercise, but that was it there. The staff was competent and very nice. You check in the same way. They take your temperature and do the safety things now with COVID. They were very good and you could come and go whenever you wanted to. They had a big room where they were playing a bingo game or something like that. They had activities. The staff was very good. My husband felt that he was safe there and secure. I have no problems with Gordon Lane.
Concerned this place is horrible

A nurse Wendy screamed at my elder mother, she is a CNA and needs to be fired!! The sliding doors do not have locks which gives any stranger access to our loved ones. The rooms smell like poop. I visited this facility and the bathroom had toilet paper with poop and the lady next to my mother had her sheets changed with poop and the sheets were left there for a total of 6 hours until I said something to her after she jumped over the toilet paper instead of picking it up. This place is unsanitary. Staff gossips in the hall after my mother asked for help to go to the bathroom, she had to wait 1 hour. I dont understand how this place is opened, I will report this to the better business bureau. A person next to my mothers room fell, she heard the nurse say in spanish, "I told you she was going to fall" and the other nurse told her sshhh. My mother is very alert and its a shame that she was at this facility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO YOUR LOVED ONES! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED AND SHUT DOWN.

Avoid placement here at all costs. No help for preventing issue. PT is not workable. No diagnosis or treatment plan at all. Not a place Dr rehab at all. Food is bad. Support service in terms of pain management is a joke. Just a warehouse! I was placed twice in rooms with Covid patients completely without my knowledge or consent.

Avoid this place all together. Will ignore the patient, they do not know how to handle a dementia patient. They just don't care as they sit stand around and talk ignoring the patients

My father was at Gordon Lane Care Center. It was an older place, and the food was fine. They did very good physical therapy there. The only thing I did not care for was they had rooms with 3 residents to a room. I thought 2 to a room probably should be the most that they should have.

When we visited Gordon Lane Care Center, our experience was very nice. We got all the information that we needed and a lot of positive feedback. The residents look happy. The staff seemed very pleasant and competent in what they were doing. They are very involved with their patients. I would recommend them to other people looking for the same kind of facility. There is a possibility that we will transfer my mom in this facility.

As a former patient at Gordon Lane, I can attest to the excellent care/services that I received from their occupational/physical therapy dept., the nurses/physician assistant, activity personnel, administration/case manager, housekeeping, etc., As a new patient, I was scared of the unknown. The staff/personnel were all so nice, friendly, and caring that it brought me comfort with each new day that I had to stay. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in need of health care rehabilitation. Noreen
