My father has only been in Park Central Care and Rehabilitation Center short term. It's a good place, clean, and not smelly. The food was decent. The nurses were good. I only had trouble with one nurse in the two days that she was on duty. He liked bingo and got to know people. Everybody seemed to like him. It was the most reasonable out of all the three that he's been in.

The nurses at Park Central Care & Rehabilitation Center are all very wonderful, but it was very noisy. There was so many people with three people to each room. When I was there, the food looked really great. The room size was about 18 feet long and 12 feet wide. If they were taking the third bed out, they had to move the first and second beds out of the way and had to move all of the chairs and tables out. It was crowded. The nurses and staff were really great. Other than being a little crowded and noisy all of the time, everything else was OK.

MMy first time at Park central was today. 3-2-2015. My mother was sent to this facility after neck/spine surgery. First impression of this facility was just as I thought. Residents in hallways waiting to be taken to physical therapy. Not a good feeling. The assist my mom to her room basically just put her un the bed. When my mother asked for pillows the nurse just literally threw the pillows on my moms legs. Her lublunch consisted of a grilled sandwich which looked tired, stale and hard. The commodes are used by all residents, shared. no showers, the dreszer for my mothers things were broken and barely surviving. my mothers bed shook with the slightest movement. the nurses were rude no compassion what so ever. 2 patients to a room the curtains were extremely thin. just a bad place all in all. if you really love your loved one, do not send them there. they will not get the proper attention or care in this facility. its a shame how our seniors are treated at this facility.

When researching a facility for my mom, we wanted to find a place that was clean, patient-centered, and had staff and equipment in place for daily physical therapy. We found what we were looking for, and a lot more in Fremont Park Central. The staff was responsive, professional and courteous. They took into account my mom's as well as the family needs to create a rehabilitation plan for my mom. We especially loved the physical therapy staff who were patient and gentle with my mom, knew our entire family by name, and took the time to train us, her care givers with safety procedures and ways to support my mom when she came home. The facility was overall clean and well run. The food... well, not what I would make for her, but it was ok for a short-term stay. The food service staff made a special effort to find my mom's favorite comfort foods and had them there each day. This made my mom feel special and cared for when away from home. Overall, my mom made amazing strides in a short time because of the infrastructure and support of this facility, and of course her lovely daughters!!

My Mom was here temporarily. The overall feel of this place is relatively clean and friendly, but a bit understaffed when it comes to getting immediate help when you press the bed button for assistance. Was quite pleased with the physical therapy and speech patholigists. They were caring, gentle and attentive. They have rooms with four people to a room, but my Mom had a room for two people, with a nice built in television and a side patio she was able to easily go out to. In walking distance to a central shopping center to get a quick bite to eat and bring back to the center. Close to Fremont BART station too. So, it's located in a good and relatively safe area. Would recommend this place to anyone needing temporary or long term care.

Two-thumbs up on the staffs because they do not fail to exceed their residents' families expectations. It's like you are working with them on the care of your family member/friend. This facility is not that big but it is clean and smells good too.
