My father is in Parkrose Gardens of Fairfield. I love them. They made the transition super easy, and they're super helpful. It took my dad about two weeks to not hate the place and not hate me. Now he loves it and glad he's there. He loves the food. The chefs there are very awesome. I even got to meet both their chefs. They came out and greeted my dad and myself. They said, "Hey, if there's anything you need, just let me know." Both of them are freaking awesome. It's a two-story building and you need to use the elevator to be able to get down. Other than that, it's awesome. They have at least four activities a day. Everyone else who lives there loves the activities. The people who work there are very well trained in memory care and really seem to love their jobs. Even the maintenance staff is well trained, so that's amazing. My dad loves going outside. Their outside is like gated community part, so he can actually go out there. He can sit in the sun, but still in a shaded area. It's very well kept, so it was really pretty. He loves going out there every day.

I toured Parkrose Gardens of Fairfield. Gregory, the director, is very knowledgeable. I told him that I would have put my mother in that facility, except it was like 25, 30 minutes away. I had to use freeway traffic, and that's the only reason I didn't put my mother there. He was invested into the -- he's not just a manager, he's actually invested into pakoras gardens. And I thought that the medical management person, she was very knowledgeable. The med techs were very knowledgeable, and they had sufficient staff. It's under construction, and the rooms that have been completed are really nice. It's an older building that's under construction. They're upgrading and renovating.

I like Parkrose Gardens of Fairfield. The staff is very good; they're very caring and respectable people. It's a very clean and healthy environment, they're very professional, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and very receptive to their residents. I have been very happy with this community. I understand that their food is very good. My dad's room is neat and clean. We helped him move in. The window is bright with lots of sunlight. His bathroom is neat, clean, and accessible. Their food is well seasoned and healthy.

It seems to be easy to maneuver and looks comfortable. The staff seems very friendly and knowledgeable. The food looks like it was nicely set up and the menu looks like it had nice variety. They have singing, music, and dancing that my sister likes. She has been living there for less than a week.

My husband moved in. A good percentage of the people were worse off than him, and it's noisy, so he can't rest. The staff seemed nice. He is in a 2-person room, and his bed is by the window, but it's small.

I took my husband here for respite care in November. The staff took very, very good care of him. When I picked him up, he told me all about what he had to eat. He had pasta and vegetables for lunch with cranberry juice and blueberry pie. The staff is Filipino and they are excellent caregivers. I like that. I am happy that my husband is there. I would highly recommend them.
