I went to Alder Bay Assisted Living. What I liked best was that it was very close for my mother to get everything that she needed. There was nothing I did not like about it. The staff was great. Everything looked fine. It was a nice and quiet environmentl, and people were going about whatever they were doing. It seemed like a nice place to be so far.

We went on a tour of Alder Bay Assisted Living. It went awesomely, they're very polite and answered all of our questions, and their price is unbelievably good. The facility is excellent. We did not try the food but by the looks of the menu on the board, it's got to be excellent. They've got opportunities for family members if they don't like what's being served too, they could serve you something else. We went searching for assisted living and I'm very happy with it.

Alder Bay Assisted Living was fine. The tour was excellent. The woman who gave us the tour was very forthcoming and honest with us. She didn't seem like she was trying to hide anything or sell us on anything. She was just showing us the property, showing us the different types of activities that are available, how the events work, and how the meals work. It was just very informative. The rooms were very nice. They seemed to always be on the ball about taking care of things that needed to be fixed. When someone no longer needs their room, the maintenance team comes, gives it a fresh coat of paint, new carpet, and makes sure everything works. Their dining area was nice and open. It didn't feel like you'd be crowded in there. They were doing a stretching class with a staff instructor who does recreation activities there. They were also getting ready to do a bus event where they go out and take them to shops or something like that. They have a wide variety of different things they offer.

I toured the assisted living of Alder Bay Assisted Living. It was in the main building. It's great. It's a very nice place. It seems quiet. They seem very, very attentive. I just looked at the types of rooms that they had available. It was a very nice tour, and they explained everything to me. They gave me a better understanding. They answered any questions I had, and they were very nice. The rooms were big. They're good-sized rooms. They're clean. It's a pretty new and nicely set up place. I very much liked it. It's a very caring and very home-feeling place. I'm very pleased with it. The staff was all very friendly and very helpful. It was clean. Everything I saw was very clean. It's new, roomy, and nicely set up. They have a nail salon, barbershop, or hair salon. They're looking for a new hairdresser. They just lost theirs, but they do have that set-up. They have a library and a nice dining room. They also have a private dining section, a smaller one, if you have maybe family or group things. They have what looked like a nice kitchen. Some rooms have microwaves and mini-refrigerators if you want that kind of set-up. They had everything I could think that my brother would need at this point.

At this point, Alder Bay Assisted Living seems to be the one that would be best for me. I'd pick them if I have to go into assisted living. The people that live there seemed nice. The apartments were very nice. If people wanted, they could have a small kitchenette in their apartment. I did not meet the staff other than the nice lady who took me around.

I really liked Alder Bay Assisted Living. It was clean, and the staff was very nice. I had lunch with some of the residents there, and I felt wonderful for them. I would definitely consider my father going there. They had a nice sunny room that had books, and it led out to a patio where the residents could go sit outside, as well. They had an exercise room and a room where they could play cards. They also had a nice living room where they could all gather and just socialize. I liked that they could wash his clothes for him, and they would give him assistance on what he needed. As far as I could tell, it was really a nice place.

We visited Alder Bay. It was beautiful, perfect, clean, and smelled good. Everybody was nice and clean. I was very impressed. The meals were served to patients restaurant-style in a really nice dining area on the bottom floor. They had different sizes of rooms; one had a spacious bedroom, and one was just a small studio. Everybody looked happy. It looked like they would go extra mile for their patients. I would love for my mom to go there.

Alder Bay Assisted Living was clean, and its staff was extra friendly. The food I had was absolutely excellent. I was surprised that the studio apartment for one person was plenty large and that I'd be quite comfortable there, so I was pleased with that. They had people come in to clean the house and change the bedding. They had everything I need included in the package. I am quite impressed with it.

A friend of the family found a place for my sister-in-law in Alder Bay -- a respite room. I'd move in there in a New York minute. The staff is wonderful. It is beautiful and clean, and the dining room looks like a restaurant. It is gorgeous. I haven't had a meal there, but I asked my sister-in-law, and she said the food is excellent. There are I think two selections. I looked at the board that lists the activities and, as a matter of fact, they are planning a group to come to my restaurant for lunch this coming Friday, so they take them to places and stuff like that. It is in a nice neighborhood and very close to all medical facilities and doctors' offices. They are within a mile, at least. And I know that you can have a pet there. Now, my sister-in-law doesn't, but they have the residents' names on the doors and, with the right deposit, you can even take your pet, which I think is very important for elderly people.

The Alder Bay was lovely. It was a wonderful facility with a wonderful staff. The staff cared very much about the residents. They were very nice and knowledgable about the residents. They had beautiful rooms and the setting was very attractive. Their rooms were all carpeted and the bathrooms were excellent. The main reason why we didn't look further was that it didn't have a special facility for people who develop Alzheimer's. They took us on a tour in the whole building where we saw the rooms and various facilities.

My mother has been living in Alder Bay for around six months. It is closer to us to stop by and visit her. The place is clean, open and friendly. It was a little bit larger, holding around 50 residents. The staff had been very compassionate and giving. They take the residents to different events. They had a jet boat ride on one of the rivers, they go to various towns for shopping and they also do a lot of events on site. They have a lot of family events, a Christmas party, holiday parties, dances and music.

Upon visiting this facility, it seemed to resemble most of the others in the area. The biggest thing I noticed upon visiting was the attention paid to visitors and residents. Each resident seemed to receive attentive care and the employees seemed to be concerned about their satisfaction and happiness. The facility was full of activity and most of the employees had smiles and greeted me as a visitor even though they were clearly busy. The location is nice as it is offset from the main areas but still in a pretty central location allowing residents the ability to do things in town. The rooms seemed to be a nice size and nicely kept up as were the surrounding areas.

Everyone always has a smile at Alder Bay. I visit this facility frequently to meet with one of my clients (who is a resident here). The staff is truly focused on creating an enriching experience for every resident (and friends and family are always invited to join in the activities, too which is nice). They have so many fun things planned every day, from meeting for coffee and donuts, ice cream socials, Bingo. movie night and "Happy Hour" to fine art classes. It's nestled in the heart of Eureka so there are plenty of places residents can walk to (or take the shuttle to if needed). The property also has quite a nice deck area with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape (a great place for seniors to do their arts and crafts are just visit and relax). The individual rooms (the ones I have personally seen there) are well kept by the staff and fairly spacious (units are sized anywhere from 400 square feet to 600, I believe).
