Greenridge Post-Acute & Senior Living was terrible. I pretty much attribute them to my father passing away, just the level of care there was bad. It was a really bad experience. They're understaffed. The management was not very organized. There was a day when they lost my dad for a couple of hours like he was being transferred to a hospital and then being transferred back. No one knew where he was. They couldn't tell me what hospital he was transferred to, so I had to track him down by calling all the area hospitals. He was there for rehab post-surgery. They were doing their best, but they were so short-staffed. My dad lost 28 pounds while he was there. The food was so bad. He was bedbound. I think they have activities, but he didn't do any of them. I would not recommend it to other people.

My husband was at Greenridge Senior Care. It was a nice facility. It was open and airy. It was adjacent to a skilled nursing facility. He was there right after he was released from skilled nursing. He was under home hospice care. One of the things that the occupational therapist recommended was to make sure that he would sit up everyday to strengthen his core muscles, but they never did that. He was always in his bed, lying down 24/7. They didn't have the staff to assist him going to the bathroom and lifting him up. The afternoon staff was much better. Lily and Francisco were good with him. They were supposed to feed him with chopped food (which should have been good for his speech therapy), but instead they fed him with baby-like consistency food. My overall experience with them was not good at all.

I moved my mom to Greenridge Senior Care because she needed assisted living. My mom gets personal assistance in getting up and moving about. They keep the rooms clean. It's an older building, but it's clean. They're working on the outside to make it much more appealing to the residents. The ambiance is a little dull. They have a living room and a dining room which becomes a craft room, and they're working on a patio.

What I like about this facility is their amenities which includes 24-hour emergency call system, physical therapy and fitness room, recreation room and library, and hair salon and manicurist. They also have a great security system which is the Wander Guard Security System so you do not have to worry about your loved ones safety while you're away.
