My mom was a resident at Parkway Gardens before she passed away, the faculty always treated her with the utmost respect and was always there whenever Mom needed anything. She was treated great. The place was clean and did not have a bad smell. Mom shared a room with another lady, they had their own restroom in the room.

My mother moved in to Parkway Gardens Retirement two months ago. She has her own room which is very nice. She shares a bathroom. The food there is not that great, and they do't have any activities. I got her a TV cable, radio, and books because they don't provide any of that. The staff are very nice. They give her a shower and help her to the dining room.

The grounds of Parkway Gardens are beautiful, the people are very caring and very sweet, and I think it is great. My mother is doing well, and it is nice that there are so many people there that she can visit with. The food is great; my mother enjoys it.

My Mom loves it here. She has her own TV in a nice room. Marco comes to get her and assists her to the dining room for meals. He's very nice to her. All the staff are. Anything she needs assistance with, they are happy to help.

Parkway Gardens was good. They were taking really good care of my mother, they fed her well, and she had access to inside and outside, but when she started having behavioral problems, they called me right away, and got her admitted to Grossmont where she spent 2 ½ weeks in their behavioral center. They got her some attitude adjusting medication, and then she was good. There was somebody up 24/7, and the food was good. If she didn’t like what they were having, they would make her something else. She was allowed to have coffee, and they did allow smoking but only in certain areas, so she was happy there. However, she needed to be on mood swing medication, so she went to the hospital, and then when she came out, she didn’t go back to Parkway Gardens. They didn’t really have any activities there. There was somebody who was awake 24/7 in the house, so there was always somebody available.
