We have chosen The Crest at Citrus Heights for my sister and we're hoping she can stay there for many years because it is a great place. They have all kinds of events and they have live music. They can order their meals there or they can make their own meals. The residents are super friendly and all of the people that work there are friendly. They are very good and accommodating. The place is very clean and beautiful. Everything is new on the inside and outside. It is located next to a park. They have laundry and housekeeping, and they have a caretaker if you need one. The rooms have 2 emergency switches. They have a built-in seat in the showers. There are so many other nice things about it. They take you shopping and to doctor's appointments. Their price is also moderate.

I like the activities at The Crest at Citrus Heights. The apartments were very nice. The facility is clean. They have a theater and puzzle rooms. I'm going to enjoy that place. The staff was very nice and very polite. They explained everything.

I was very pleased with The Crest at Citrus Heights. I loved it. I loved Lyn. She was a dream. I couldn't ask for anybody better. She explained everything, showed everything, and she had a delightful personality. The tour was outstanding, and the place was gorgeous. It had everything that anybody could want. I wanted a 2-bedroom apartment, but she didn't have one available to show me. But she did show me a studio and a 1-bedroom apartment. It had a living room, a dining room, a bedroom, and a very small kitchen. For someone that would want a studio, that would be fine. They had a beautiful and humongous courtyard with chairs, sofas, and tables. In fact, in one of the courtyards, there was even a turkey and some little ones.

I went to see The Crest at Citrus Heights independent living. The staff also showed me what they have there and showed me that if my mom's level of independence changed, she'd be able to stay in the same place. They don't all have walk-in showers, but she showed me that their higher level of care all had walk-in showers. They're doing some renovations at crest so they had some construction going on. They've got a lot of things available and they have a lot more planned activities available than the other places I saw, so I liked that. It's an older building, but they were doing a lot of renovating so they're changing the carpet to lower pile and putting linoleum in planes that were low floors. So it's easier to walk on and get around, and they're changing a bunch of stuff in the apartments. The staff was nice, as we were walking through, they seemed to know all their residents by name. They let the people do personal things to their doorways and entryways, so that was cool if you want to decorate on holidays and stuff like that. And the fact that the residents get to have their pets as long as they take care of it, so it was good. It was still clean even though older, and they're modernizing it. Parking was easy for them, and they have a lot of really beautiful courtyards, so that was nice. And when the weather permits, you could be out walking around on the grounds, it's safe but not cooped up, and they have walking paths. They had a lot of great activities for the residents, like book clubs, and exercise classes, and they encouraged them to get out. They do all kinds of things available for all different tastes.

We chose The Crest at Citrus Heights for my dad, and he's moving this Monday. I chose them because they were convenient. They were pretty close to where I live. I'm the son, so it'll make it an easy commute, plus the price, it was much more affordable. I thought that the staff was very nice. They answered all of our questions, and I think that my dad will get along well with them. My dad chose a studio apartment and the apartment had just been refurbished. So everything was super nice and clean.

We are going to be moving into The Crest at Citrus Heights. The price fits within our budget, and that was the main thing. It's in a nice neighborhood. The facility itself has a lot of stuff for seniors. You get to experience stuff there like a theater, food, and activities. It's a lot of things. You don't have to go anywhere. You could just stay there and be happy with the activities that they have there. The staff is very nice and friendly. The person who did all the paperwork for us was very nice over there. I'm pleased with the staff. Most of the rooms over there have been renovated, but we have one of the last ones. It's a classic two-bedroom, and it's perfect for us. There's plenty of room, and we like the layout. We like the living room and the bedroom. One bedroom is a bit bigger than the other one and that's going to be mine. It's nice inside and it's just perfect for our needs. There's a stove and there's free cable. There's a laundry room, which is right down the hall from us, and there's a recreation room over there, too. Right now, they're doing remodeling over there. You have contractors running around and you have materials kind of stacked around there. They try to keep things clean as they can, but of course, with contractors working, it does get all dusty and stuff and everything.

I toured The Crest at Citrus Heights. They're a nice place, but it starts at $1,800. They're doing some renovations, and it's right next to the park. It's kind of hidden or a little secluded, so I like that part about it. The lady who was showing me around did a good job. We looked at the studio and it was pretty well equipped. The kitchen came provided with a stove. They have a gym, a washer, and dryer, or a laundromat. Overall, it was a clean place. It's located near some stores, and hospitals aren't that far, probably within 10-15 minutes. The only downside would be that it's next to a really busy street.

We looked at The Crest at Citrus Heights, and I liked it. The door was fireproof and too heavy for me to even open it. I liked the room. I liked the woman who gave us the tour. I liked the fact that you could get meals. They would come and take your order for an additional fee. They changed your linens once a week, and the price was reasonable. The one room I looked at did not have an oven, but the staff said the other rooms did. They had a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. The facility was very clean. The living room faced the parking lot, but there was grass. A lot of light came into both the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom was ADA compliant, which is what I needed.

This facility is not a good place for senior living. My mother moved in almost five years ago and it has gone progressively downhill. Recently they lost their last on site manager who before he left revealed the company was renovating, not for the benefit of the residents, but for a future change over to another form of rental. All the benefits they claim to have, they don’t. The housekeeping is intermittent at best, sometimes going for weeks. My mother has cockroaches, mice and bed bugs. They’ve done very little to address these concerns in any manner that might actually resolve them. They are currently spraying her bed with pesticides again. After the first spraying she awoke to find 5 more bugs in the bed. Pesticides don’t work and are dangerous for my mom’s health. Heat is needed but they aren’t using real bed bug experts just the maintenance department. They respond to problems at their leisure. I doubt they are actually renting now. My mom says it’s at about 25% occupancy but be careful about any of their other properties. The company is Pacifica Senior Living. Avoid.

What I liked about The Crest at Citrus Heights independent living was the apartments and the way they were laid out. Everything was nice. The way they explain the meals was nice too. Overall, it was just nice and they were very informative. The staff were friendly, answered my questions, and was just very nice. They had a salon, a patio, and a place where you can watch and play games. I think they were doing bingo at the time I went to tour. They're remodeling and I would say the cleanliness was nice, but it's hard to tell when you've got reconstruction going on. I'm sure the finished product will be very nice. This location is close to where I live and we didn't want a place too far. There were restaurants close by too. My son goes to Kaiser which isn't that far from there.

The location of The Crest at Citrus Heights was very good. It was close to my home and to the neighborhood I know. The place was clean. The rooms were a nice size, and I could see myself living and socializing there. I met some of the residents too, and they were all very nice. I liked that it had housekeeping, meals, medical services, and the price was very good. I haven't looked at any other places around to really know what prices were going to be. When I took my house payment and all of my utilities that I paid, I could have been paying less there than I am now. I was very, very happy with that. The person who toured us gave us a menu. They had things that I didn't like, but there were enough of the things on the substitution list that I could switch around. It also had an area that you could go out and sit. The unit that I looked at had little balconies, but I think most of them did. I also liked the idea of having elevators because I'm not too good with stairs.

I have chosen The Crest at Citrus Heights for its convenience. It's a very pleasant place. Everyone is pleasant. It's really clean and nice. The staff is very knowledgeable, very nice, helpful, and friendly. They're under construction, and they're renovating. The renovations are really nice. The room is very nicely laid out, and everything is very convenient. There are lots of closet spaces. They have a salon too. It is close to where my doctor's facility is.

The people at The Crest at Citrus Heights were very nice, and we enjoyed the tour very much. However, we didn't really like the apartments. They're just older and kind of dark. Also, when you're totally independent, and you're moving from an 1800-square-foot home, that's just not where you want to go. The staff members were delightful. We toured the dining room and met the staff, and that was very nice. They had both indoor and outdoor dining facilities, which I thought were very nice, too.

I will be moving in this weekend. I went with my girlfriend because she lives a mile and a half away and we were very impressed. Everybody was very nice and they invited us to stay for lunch. We saw the units that they had available. I liked the coloring inside the building. It was very comfortable. There's no ceiling fan in the living room, so they offered to bring one in for me and I just felt like they went above and beyond. I was disappointed there was no carport, but the other things all seemed to work out. I don't really need a carport; I'll probably just cover my car. There were lots of parking available. I liked it from the beginning and then after I saw the place and after talking to the staff, I was even more convinced. It seemed more like home to me and it just felt so comfortable. Everyone was very nice.

My dad moved here because one good old time friend was there. The staff was friendly, and they contract out separately to do additional care for him. They have games, music, movies, and outings.

I had a very good experience when I visited the community. The staff has been very nice, and the pace seemed very clean. If I am going to select one, this place would be high on my list. Their rooms have a nice little kitchen in them.

I have been here a couple of times. I was going to take a room there and give them a deposit, but the problem is the parking. They have assigned parking for the residents, which is good, but anybody who wants to visit, say my son who lives out of town, has to park on the street. The rooms are large, and I really like them. The people are very pleasant. It is an older establishment, but that doesn't mean anything. It was a comfortable place. You cannot take your pets in the main building. The staff was very responsive, but the waitress that waited on me wasn't the friendliest person in the world. The food was really good.

I'm living here. It's very friendly. There are places to walk and a book club. The staff is helpful. They serve lunch and dinner, and you're pretty much on your own during breakfast. They have a bus, and you can arrange to use it up to seven miles away. It's really green, and they have animals outside that you can watch.

It was very nice, sunshiny, and bright, and the amenities were not brand new but in really good condition. They had storage units, pull cords, and a large vanity in the bathroom. Most of the time in other places, I’ve seen just a sink and a little ledge around the sink to put powders, lotions, or soap; this one had a larger vanity, so that was nice, and walk-in showers. It had a balcony or a patio whether you’re downstairs or upstairs, and also a bus for transportations. The staff was very friendly. They served lunch and dinner, and they also checked on the resident if that person doesn’t show up for a meal. The reason I didn’t choose this one, even though I really liked it, is because we just couldn’t afford it.

My mother-in-law was placed here for six months. It was close to my home, which was a plus, and allowed the family to come in and spend the night when residents are sick. Instead of having to put my mother-in-law in a full assisted living facility, it was a lot easier to keep her there. They also had a nurse on staff that would come and check on my mother-in-law every hour and bring her meals. The facility was very nice and had a country setting with turkeys and rabbits running around the place. My mother-in-law got attached to the rabbits and would feed them every day. They also had a beauty parlor. What attracted me most was that it didn’t feel like a hospital. It had more of a homey, welcoming feeling to it, so I really liked that. At first, the food was really good, but then they changed the cook toward the end, so it started to taste different. My mother-in-law wasn’t eating toward the end anyway, but they did have a menu and specials. If you didn’t want what they were serving, you could always have a hamburger, chicken nuggets, chicken pot pies, scrambled eggs, or grilled cheese sandwich. It wasn’t the most expensive place, but it wasn’t the cheapest place either. I thought the rates were reasonable. She had a bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette. They did the cleaning for her once a week, and there was a laundry facility right there. The staff was wonderful. I never had a problem with them. If I called or needed something, they were always there to help me. If my mother-in-law needed something, they always were there to help her, too.

Our grandma lives here. We are really happy with it. It is a great facility. They have all the accommodations that she needs. They make lunch and early dinner for the residents, and they have different trips that the residents can take. They have a calendar with a lot of activities, so they are very active. The staff is great, and the facility is clean. It is definitely a place I would recommend. It has lots of trees. There are bunnies running around the meadow area and turkeys gobbling all over the place. They have a really beautiful serene atmosphere.
