I love Monaco Apartments and its management. The apartments are clean and really large. It's like a home, not like an old folks' home. The people there don't feel like they're institutionalized. My mom has almost a 100-square-foot apartment with one bedroom and den, and it's $1,600 a month. She also has a fully furnished kitchen, a beautiful patio, and a swimming pool. The place is beautiful and half the price. It's a win-win and they're great. I moved Mom 10 days ago, and she loves it. They were wonderful and awesome. I'm really impressed with their staff. The place is brand new at just two years old. They have all kinds of activities, like potlucks once a month, bazaars, women's aerobics five times a week, chess, card games and Bible studies on Friday nights.

Monaco is new and modern, but the staff is a little bit difficult to work with and very strict. They towed our car, so we weren't too happy about that. It's reasonably priced, and my parents really like it. It's kept up really nice, and they allow pets. The staff who toured us was helpful but wasn't too knowledgeable about the small details. They don't offer food because it's an independent apartment for 55 and up.

We're moving to Villa Serena next month on the 22nd. The area is nice and quiet. They have facilities like an exercise room. The management and staff were good. They have so many activities going on and that's really nice. I already recommended this place to others.
