The hospital took my mom to La Palma Nursing Center. It's a small facility, but she likes it there very much because it was very clean and orderly. The staff were very friendly. They talk to her and they didn’t ignore her like in the other places that she has been. She was in a private room at first and then she went into a two bedroom with a roommate. It was more than adequate; very nice room. My mom is not yet ready to participate with their activities. I was able to see their breakfast one time and it’s a very typical breakfast. My mom likes the breakfast food, but the rest of the food, she says she did not like it so much.
