Ardent Care only have 20 or so patients. The building is only a couple of years old. We just felt comfortable right from the start. It was just nice and clean, and the people there are very nice to us. The dining area was clean and very well-kept. The people are right on top of everything. It was a friendly atmosphere. They didn't have any individual rooms, so my dad is in a room with another gentleman, but the rooms are absolutely immaculate, big bathrooms, and a huge walk-in shower. It's a really nice place. They always had the people outside of their rooms and doing something, like a little bit of stretching, and asking memory questions. It didn't feel like you're in a medical facility, but it was more casual and everybody stopped to say hi and were polite to my dad.

Mom was at Ardent Care for a while and they couldn't deal with some of her difficulties. They tried, but it was just a difficult situation for Mom being there. She was having some issues with aggression and they tried to deal with it, but it wasn't very effective. Initially, it was great and we were very impressed, but once we got there, we weren't very pleased, especially with Melinda. I don't know if she was the big boss there, but she wasn't very responsive at all. The apartment Mom had looked at was very nice and clean, but that's what my frustration was. They do a good job in reeling you in with all the nice stuff, but once you're there, everything changes. I'm still upset about the whole thing. The residents are put in the activity room with one person leading the group, but you can tell from the residents that a lot of them are not really into it. The day that we were going to move Mom they'd already packed all of her stuff in a couple of plastic almost trash bags, so I didn't get a chance to look at them, but when I got them home and looked at every piece, some of the stuff didn't even belong to her and they had other people's names on them. They couldn't keep track of her clothes and she hadn't been there very long. They even put two left shoes in the one bag.

Ardent Care is a very nice place. It is well-maintained, very clean, and nicely furnished, but it seems a little dark and sterile to me. Overall, it's very acceptable. The person who gave me a tour was very nice, very informative, and very professional. She was also very knowledgeable about memory care. The rooms are orderly and attractive. However, I don't remember seeing many residents there. It is quieter but very nice.

Ardent Care has been such a blessing to our family! They take excellent care of our Mom! The staff truly care and love their residents and it feels like a big family. The place is welcoming, very neat and clean, and has a calming atmosphere for residents and their families. We enjoy our visits! In the past year, our Mom had been in multiple facilities, and I also toured many places, and Ardent Care is by far the best place for our Mom and our family. She is very calm and content now, and she definitely was not in the previous places. I highly recommend Ardent Care for your loved one!

This is like a five star hotel. it's so clean and beautiful! The caregivers and staff are so kind and so concerned about the residents and their families. You feel good about leaving your loved one there knowing they are being well taken care of. This place is by far the best!
