We chose to move Mom to Crown Point Retirement Center because she has friends there and she lived in Sheridan for many years. The facility is very nice. Everybody's been very, very helpful, kind, very friendly, and accommodating. It's been a very good experience. My mother is very happy. They've just been wonderful in every way. She used to do nothing and now she gets out and goes for walks every day. She goes to lunch and dinner with the same people, she's met friends, so it's been great for her.

Crown Point Retirement Center is super nice. I like it because it has a big area. They have a one-bedroom. They have a microwave. It's not furnished, but that's not a big deal. It's a good place. The main thing is I love to be around people in it and talk to them. With regards to amenities, they have a pretty good setup area where you could sit outside on benches and stuff. You can relax when the weather is nice. The staff was super nice. They have a menu, and you can change it within two hours before the meal is served. It is like a 2-hour notice, and they'll change it to what you want. I thought that was cool.

Crown Point Retirement Center assisted living was okay. I wasn't really impressed with it. It was the only assisted living facility in Sheridan at that time, so there were no other options. Most of the staff members were okay. The rooms were pretty nice. The atmosphere was okay. It seemed like they had a lot of activity. The dining area was okay, but they served a lot of baloney sandwiches and hotdogs. It was a nice building, and it seemed clean.
