We have father and mother in small apartment they chose and it is wonderful. They have a little balcony to sit on in nice weather. Tiffany, Mindy and the staff have been absolutely wonderful! Taking such good care during COVID and helping them adjust. We absolutely could not ask for better environment. Knowing staff goes above and beyond to attend to physical health and mental well being has been a blessing for our parents and entire family! Thank you Riverlodge for all you do!!!

We really liked the rooms at RiverLodge Assisted Living. Everything was very professional and very clean. The amenities were great, probably the best one as far as what they had. We just felt like they were too big for my parents right now. The staff was good. They answered all of our questions, and they were polite. We did not eat there, but the dining room was nice and open. We had no issues. Three meals are included. They offered pill dispensary, a nurse on-staff, and transportation.

My mom has been living in RiverLodge Assisted Living. No real complaints. She complains about the food, but I think everybody in facilities do something that they can complain about, but other than that we have no complaints. There's not a lot of turnovers so she gets to know people, and I would rate them highly. It's a well to fully new facility and she has a one-bedroom and a kitchen, so it's very nice. She complains about the food, but when they weren't shutdown for the quarantine I ate over there and I thought it was very good actually, the variety. And it's balanced. They do have activities, but my mother doesn't participate in activities. She's not really social. All assisted livings are expensive as you know, but I think we're getting what we paid for.

My mother was a resident and this facility. She was released and went back to her home. Since then, an employee of RiverLodge has befriended my mother. I found out that he had taken her to an attorney and encouraged her to name him in a Power of Attorney. Fortunately, I managed to stop her from going through with it. I contacted the facility. Spoke with Mindy about it and she defended him, and denied that it was inappropriate. Only place your loved one here if you have the money tied up tight!

My aunt has special needs. She had lived with my grandmother her entire life and when my grandmother passed away suddenly we were anxious to figure out the best living arrangements for my aunt. My aunt needed more assistance than we were able to consistently provide in our homes, but my aunt felt like we were "putting her away"....until Riverlodge. Moments after we starting touring the facility, she began smiling. We could just see the hope bloom in her. It has been 2 years now and she has blossomed into an independent amazing woman. They listen to her concerns, problem solve when necessary and there is always something for her to do. She is happier than I have EVER seen her. I feel so blessed that we found RIverlodge, I wish my grandmother had been alive to see it! I highly recommend. It is a beautiful facility, the staff are caring and it feels more like a vacation lodge than an assisted living center.

On a tour of River Lodge Assisted Living I asked about the smoking policy. Residents are permitted to smoke in certain areas. One of those places is on the patio of the person's apartment--which may adjoin another apartment. If you are a non-smoker you would have no control over what smells drift into your space. There were a lot of nice things about River Lodge, but that alone would make me want to stay away.

RiverLodge had an activity room, church services on Wednesdays and Sundays, and card games. The facility was very neat. Besides the price, it was nice, and the rooms were small.

So far I have been extremely pleased with RiverLodge. It is great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They're really just caring. They just want to take care of my parents. The food is great. I have eaten there several times with them. They do outings, exercise, and crafts. They have a little movie theater.

My son is a resident at RiverLodge Assisted Living. Scott was not really happy there; he didn’t want to be put there. He gets forgotten in his room sometimes. Not that he needed anything, but he needed the interaction with other people. It was a beautiful place, and the director was wonderful. I like the place a lot. It was relatively new, very private, and had a lot of activities for them to do. It’s off the road and has lots of trees around. It was a little hilly, so there was no place for somebody like Scott to walk outside too much, but the lobby was wonderful. They had a big fireplace. They had people that came in to play music. The cafeteria was right there in front, and it was very neat, clean, and tidy. The rooms were very nice. They had a lot of staff that would come in, do waste baskets, clean up your room a little bit, or change your linens. He had a single bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and a little kitchen, but he also had a patio so he could go outside and smoke if he wanted to.

The staff at RiverLodge looked attentive to their residents when we had our visit at the facility. The facility is also very clean, and I like the rooms. Their dining area is buffet style.

RiverLodge was quite nice. We have friends there. They have different size rooms. They have one-person rooms and two-person rooms and they have like, kitchenettes. The rooms were a good size. The hallways were wide. They have personal laundry facilities. They have meals that you can get from the dining room and for an extra fee, they will deliver them to the rooms. The staff, the ones I met, was very nice. Everybody else who lives there who we know seem to think they were very, very nice. There were a lot of activities. They have movie and game rooms. Some of their residents even have their little dogs and they have doors that go out to the back that you walk right out on to the lawn with sliding glass door, and they can take their dog out back.

Riverlodge is the newest facility here. It has very wide halls which was good with railings you can hold on to. Everybody was very pleasant when we were there. You can have fully assisted care where nurses would come in. They had one and two bedroom apartments which were a little bit larger. It was a very open place. They had a little café setting and an ice cream bar. They did have an exercise room and a laundry room, too.

Riverlodge has more trees around the facility. The place is clean. I wouldn't want to live there right now, but I just thought it was a little better than the other ones we visited. The staff provided more information and I just liked it better. I didn't see activities going on at the time I was there.
