I visited Southern Meadows Senior Living. The tour guide was very nice and provided a lot of information. The facility was clean and attractive. The tour guide offered information showing us even the outside of the facility for outside interests, gardening, and the patio, and outside activities that they can offer are weather permitting and safety features of the facility. The apartment they showed us was actually in the process of being painted and updated but it was nice to know that they prepared the rooms and repainted them to make sure it's ready for a new resident. The one I saw is small but it would be sufficient. It was still very nice.

Southern Meadows has been a joy and blessing for my dad and myself on our journey. We are grateful for the love, support, and most of all the calming of being in a safe and beautiful place on this Earth.

My son brought me to Mountain Home for rehabilitation services after a stay in the hospital. The staff were amazing as they were always available to assist me when needed. The other residents were very welcoming and several came to visit me while I was recovering. Therapy services did a fantastic job and I was able to return home in 30 days. The community was clean, my room was nicely decorated, and my stay was fantastic. I highly recommend Southern Meadows!

My daughter checked out several facilities and decided on Southern Meadows. I always tell her " I don't know how you decided on this place but I don't think you could have found a better one." The employees are amazing. They do anything to help. I tell them they spoil me and they say that is what we're here for.

The facility is beautiful. Great staff. They have made my mom feel right at home from the minute she moved in. I have received calls and pictures showing her at activities.

Southern Meadows Senior Living looked very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. They seemed very capable, and it seemed like they knew all the residents. The grounds looked very well kept and very neat. There was nothing I did not like. I thought they had a pretty nice setup. You didn't have to walk real far to the eating area. They had a lounge area and an exercise area. The dining area was restaurant style, and it was very nice. They individually serve food. They had it broken up into three sections, but in a way that was good because it kept down the noise. It made it feel a little bit more independent. The food was excellent. They offered two main choices. If for some reason you didn't like the two choices they offered, they went ahead and offered five items every day as alternates. The rooms were nice, but they had a little bit limited supply. If we did decide to go with them right then, all the one-bedrooms were filled. In a way, that is good because there are a lot of people wanting to get in there. They were set up nice. The residents were doing some exercises, and they were eating, too. They had a courtyard, a TV section, and a barbershop. Every Friday, they do manicures for all their residents. I visited some places for my aunt, and this was by far the best I've seen.

Southern Meadows Senior Living is very caring. My dad's room is very clean and updated. The staff treats everybody like a family. They know everybody by their first name and it's just an wonderful place. There's lots of activity and it's a beautiful area. The food is wonderful. It's prepared by a chef. They have a menu and they get several choices. If the resident doesn't care for any of this, they get something else. They're just fabulous. They have a library, a garden, pets, manicures, haircuts, and group activities such as singing with the piano, religious meetings (if one desires), and exercise classes.

I had an in-person tour of Southern Meadows Senior Living. I like that they make the appointments and keep track of them for the residents. The physical appearance was great. I was very impressed with how open, happy, and friendly everybody was there, including the residents. The staff was very pleasant and informative. I would prefer if they didn't have mandatory set hours that the lunchroom was opening and maybe a bigger selection for extra stuff, if they don't want the main menu. The food was good, and the dining area was great. They have transportation, a beauty parlor, and games. They have activities they do all the time. They have an outdoor garden for the residents.

I live out of state and call to speak to my mother who recently moved into the facility. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable on my mother's status. If she ate, if she's participating in activities and often take the cordless phone to her room to allow us to talk to her. This is great customer service. Tasha and her team are doing a great job. We look forward to meeting them soon.

I have visited a friend several times. All I can say is wow! Every staff member from the aides to the directors go above and beyond for the residents. I have talked with several residents and they all speak highly of Southern Meadows. The food is great! The building is clean and odor free! There is a wide variety of activities that even the staff participate in. If you want a place that truly cares and has top notch service, this is the place to be!

My dad was here, but he passed away about a week after we moved him in. I like the place. It had a very warm, homey feeling to it. I think it would have been a great place for him if he had been a little bit more healthy. It was a really nice place. The people there were super nice and very accommodating. He wore one of those call buttons if he needed any help like getting out of bed, and we had just signed him up for in-home hospice, so hospice had been coming out to bathe him every couple of days, and his nurse came out to check on him. Elmcroft provided the meals. If they needed a wheelchair, they would take the wheelchair, and they would bring the food to his room, too. They had TV service. The Wi-Fi wasn't working very well, so they got right on it, did something on it, and they fixed the problem for that within the week. They were very responsive to whatever he needed. Everyone from the maintenance, to the nurses, to the people in the cafeteria, to the person at the front desk, to the finance people, to the administrative people -- they were just super helpful and very responsive. The food was excellent. We weren't there long enough to find out about their activities, but it seemed to me that they had quite a few opportunities for activities.

We went here, and the facility seemed really nice. It seemed a little bit smaller though. I thought personally, she would get more personal attention that she needs.

They seemed to have everything pretty well in order. We have a friend who lived there for several years and she really liked it. She stayed there until she had to go to a regular nursing home. It was kind of structured environment. Their dining room was very formal-like. I don't know if my husband would like that, but I would. The staff seemed to be very accommodating because the lady that we were have friends with there was in her 90 and she even has her cat with her, which made a lot of extra work for them but they dealt with it.

I had a friend who took me here. The facility is spacious. They have a very nice enclosed garden at the back of the building. The people are very friendly. I met some of the new residents and some of the older residents and everybody seemed to be happy there. They invited me for lunch and I had a very good lunch. They have music sometimes after lunch and they have games and all kinds of activities. I would definitely recommend this place.

It was the one that we really like. It was not a huge facility. It was on the smaller side than another one we saw. It also seemed very clean and more homey. I like this place. They were very cordial and friendly. They even served us apple pie and it was very good. They also encouraged us to go back at another time to try a meal. This seemed to be the place that when the time comes, we will probably utilize that facility.

It was very nice. My mother-in-law stayed there for almost a month and if she goes back into a facility that would be the one. The staff, the facility itself, just everything was very nice. The help that she received was just what would be expected in an assisted living location. The rapport between her and the staff was very good. She enjoyed the food, it seemed very good. They have a good chef and they varied the meals, they give you a menu that you can select from. They have activities each day. She had a one-bedroom that was big enough for three chairs, a couple of dressers, a full-size bed, and it had a closet space and a bathroom area.
