I moved into Yuma Senior Living on Monday. It's wonderful, and they've been great. Right now with the COVID going, there's not a whole lot going on, but once that lifts, they'll all change. The food is delicious. They offer everything. There's nothing I don't get. There's nothing that they don't do for me when I need it. The staff is wonderful.

After waiting a while to acclimate ourselves to this location, we had a good sense for this place. The staff members are pleasant and polite, the dining facilities are pleasant, there's a lot of good food, and the office staff were very effective in helping them clear up some insurance issues. The dining facility's interior courtyard is spacious and tranquil. lots of activities by instructor. People can walk or relax away from traffic and noise with comfortable seating and lush surroundings. Plants are well-kept, well-groomed, and have a refreshing body of water. I am happy we found this location.

This week my wife and I visited our long time next door neighbor, who recently moved into the Rivers edge yuma facility. Frankly,we miss her and wanted to see with our own eyes, the place she speaks so highly of! Well,we’ll still miss seeing her everyday, but we will no longer be concerned about her new home (assisted living) and the professionals that help her. Wow! Everything really exceeded what we had expected. While we were only there for a couple of hours we had a great feeling when we left, knowing that she really was in good hands!! The staff is very experienced. 2 bedroom apartment is bright and spacious with weekly housekeeping and laundry. I was so impressed with the facility, the events, and the activities available to residents. Thanks Rivers Edge!

The staff in River's Edge Assisted Living is very friendly and open. They do have nursing staff available, but I think the facility itself is in the middle of doing a lot of modifications and renovations. I had an opportunity to visit the very clean dining room. They have snacks out all during the day for the clients. We looked at a one-bedroom place and what they've done is, it used to be a hotel, so they modified the hotel to make an assisted living environment. What they've done is combine two hotel rooms to make a one-bedroom apartment, so to speak. You can tell that it's two rooms, two different rooms, and they knocked down the wall and made one room. They're right on a major street, so there's a lot of traffic, it's not as quiet as the other place. I think the staff is very friendly, very outgoing, they were expecting us there, it wasn't difficult getting in. It's a locked community, they do have gates that lock, so it's quite safe. They did have gazebos outside, they had several gazebos, and one of them had -- well, here in Yuma, it's extremely hot, so it kind of cool things off. One had a mister in it, and the other one had a mister being installed in it. The gazebos were a nice touch.

We went to River's Edge Assisted Living. It seemed like the staff was very caring and very kind. What we didn't like about it was it almost looked like a Motel 6 that was converted into an assisted living. The residents have to go outside of their room and be in the weather if they want to go to activities or if they want to go to the dining room. They have to walk outside and they're actually outside underneath the hallways kind of thing. It was on a very busy street, very noisy, and the location was not all that great. The bathrooms were too small. They needed to be larger to have wheelchair accessibility. The shower was not a walk-in shower; it was a bathtub that they cut the side off, and you have to step up about four or five inches. That needs to be improved.

I toured River's Edge Assisted Living for my husband. The only thing I didn't like was the layout. You had to come out of the rooms to go anyplace. I have to come out of the building to go anyplace. I didn't like the area that River's Edge was in, but they did have it gated so that that helped a lot. They had gone through, cleaned everything up, and redone everything, so it was nice, but the rooms were more hotel-style rooms. It had small baths, and you didn't have any room in there at all. The staff was quick with their answers. If you ask something, they had a two- or three-word answer for you, and they didn't go into details or show you much, it didn't impress me. I only got to talk to one guy, and I didn't get to talk to any of the other people, but I wasn't impressed with what he had to say. They were just quick little answers, and he didn't go into detail or furnish any information.

Rivers edge is not a facility that takes of residents for memory care, it is a family that loves your family member and takes of them as a part of their family. I couldn't have found a better home for my mom. She was happy and called it her home. The staff their is amazing. They are so attentive and love being with residents. The staff enjoys working with him and it is a wonderful atmosphere.

My mom is currently at River's Edge Assisted Living. It's very good. I recommend it. It's a lot more reasonable than other places. The staff is very good there. They take good care of her as far as I've seen. I'd recommend it for anybody that has a certain lower budget to fit in. Other places I was looking at were almost double compared to her place. They've done everything that I've asked them to do and they maintain my mom's health by trying to check on her about every two hours to see how she is doing. They have a nurse that's there eight hours a day. They were able to bring in hospice for us and sit down and we went through all that. They have a doctor through hospice. You don't have to go looking and searching for all this information. They were able to get it and got a social worker for my mom, too. The food is not the best, but the care is good. It's very clean, nice, and updated. It was a hotel before they converted it to an assisted living there, but everything is new inside the room. The rooms are small, but bathrooms are a good size. They have wheelchair capability with the shower on one level, you do not have to step in or step out. You can roll right in with a wheelchair and scooch onto a shower chair. They have activities, but they're limited right now due to the coronavirus. They've never had the virus there. Every place here in Yuma other than this one, I've heard, has had the virus in their location, even the high-end ones.

We liked River's Edge the best. Rooms are new and clean, and it had a nice atmosphere. They do assisted living as well. The staff in orders were accommodating kind and specific and what I needed to do and what they would do to take care of my mother. I appreciate their help their understanding their patience and positivity. The residents are happy clean well-fed and they can go in and outside as they please it's a gated facility small but personable nice and happy. The food is excellent. They offer four to five activities every day, with a lot of them repeats from day to day, and have bingo almost every day.

I held up a couple of months to survey so we could get a decent vibe for this spot. Be that as it may, it's demonstrated to be exceptionally pleasant for my better half. The staff are inviting and accommodating, the eating offices are extremely pleasant, there is a lot of good food gave. Within patio grounds are open and serene, so people can sit outside or walk around away from traffic and clamor. They are additionally all around kept up, solid plants and trees, green grass, with lovely drinking fountains. I feel lucky we discovered this spot. Following a little while of good food and exercise, his well being improved enormously. He has restored his versatility, freedom and is prepared to by and by hit the path. We are thankful to River's Edge and the staff; we feel the cost for these facilities was more than reasonable.

My dad stayed in River's edge for three weeks. one of my friends referred me. I am living East Overlook Lane Yuma. it was fifteen minutes from my home and it worked out great from me. It was a beautiful home. They had activities posted on the wall, and they had a lot of things going on. my dad's room was really nice and big, and we got to put his furniture in there. I saw the menu and it was good. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very caring, compassionate & accommodating. The nurse has been very helpful in following up on things with me. The manager was very helpful, too. The food is excellent. I would recommend it to others.
