About The Villas at Wilmot in Tucson, Arizona
The Villas at Wilmot is a beautiful unique Neighborhood setting in East-Central Tucson. There are seven lovely homes with lush vegetation in which to meander behind and through as it is all secure for our assisted living/memory care residents.
We focus on care as we provide a 1:5 ratio of caregiver to resident daily, and when you add our Care Managers and licensed office staff it is close to 1:3.5 staff to resident.
We provide three delicious meals per day and snacks whenever asked for. Activities and involvement are also stressed so that our residents can enjoy outside entertainment as well camaraderie amongst the other residents in their home as well as all the residents of the other homes in the Neighborhood.

My mom will be moving into The Villas at Wilmot. They are small little casitas with eight people in each casita and two caretakers per unit. They're small and quaint. They have a happy dog that's friendly. It's just perfect for my mom. My mom's got a room with a closet and a community bathroom. It's got a big shower and a little seat. It's just enough for my mom. When you walk in, the first thing you see is the kitchen and a great big island. The people are greeting you. They're friendly and welcoming. And then you see one big dining room table that seats eight. Everybody sits at the dining room table to eat; unless you don't want to get up on your bed, then they will serve it to you in your room. There's a big family room where there's couches, chairs, a great big TV, and an activity area. There's a back patio. To the left, there are four rooms, and to the right, there are four rooms. We actually walked in during dinner, and I got a chance to look at what they were serving. It's what you would cook at home. The staff was an angel sent from God above and was amazing. They've got fruit trees, like peace trees, lime trees, lemon trees, orange trees, and apple trees. The residents come out and eat right off the tree. It's just amazing. The way they have it all laid out is so peaceful and really nice.

This place is awful. They lie to get your loved ones as residents. Then they trick you into them seeing their psychiatrist on the first day. This allows them to sedate residents day and night. My loved one is over sedated all day and night. Food is inedible, cold and not able to be chewed. Laundry (clothes and linens) are not given back to the right resident. My loved one is never in his own clothes even underwear. One worker in particular has three inch long nails and hurts the residents by grabbing them while cursing at them. This is a HORRIBLE, MONEY GRABBING FACILITY!

My husband as been there for a while. The group home he is in has about 8-1 people living there. There are no activities , no enrichment and worst of all the staff has little to no interaction with the the clients there. In the 3 hours I spent there, the care takers sat, talked and ate. Only once in a while did they get up to do some chore. The food was placed on the table with no interaction, or invitation to come it. He is basically ware housed there.

My mother is here. It is a group home, but it is very modern and very clean. I think the caregivers are really good people. I don't think the food is very good, but it is nourishing. However, they don't offer a whole lot of activities.

It is a beautiful place. There are 7 different buildings that are all side by side, and each house has about 9 clients. It is beautifully landscaped. The staff is very nice. The rooms each have attached handicapped toilets and sinks. There are two shower rooms – one for each side of the house.
