I moved my mother to Mom and Dad Place. The place she was at before had abused her, so I had to find her a place real quick. They nursed her back and she's doing really good. She's more alert now. The staff is very nice, very loving, and very accommodating. The owner is very nice. It's not so business like that it makes you feel like you're buying a car. It's more family run. It's been a good experience so far. She's in memory care for her advanced dementia, but it's like living in a house. It's very homey and very nice. They home cook all their food, and they've been very accommodating in the beginning with making her shakes when she wasn't able to eat. It's been really good. It's a very loving place.
