We moved into Fellowship Square Tucson. It's reasonable. The food is very good. It's a lovely and beautiful place. They have everything except a microwave. It's like moving into a rental. The staff members are very pleasant and accommodating. There are all sorts of activities. They have cards and physical exercise. You can't get in without keys, so I feel good because I have a little dog, and I don't want him to get loose. They have a very pleasant courtyard in all the buildings. They have pools everywhere. For me, I get 15 meals a month. Otherwise, I have to pay or make my own in my kitchen.

I thought Fellowship Square Tucson was excellent. The one thing I didn't like is that I would probably be on the fourth floor, and I'd take my dog out, I'd have to go down and get on the elevator and go down. And the size of the apartments is smaller because I'm living in a 1500 sq. ft. place now. The food was delicious. You get 15 meals a month, and then there's a continental breakfast. I like that. I could have a covered carport for my car. That was $20 extra, but it was overall very good. I felt safe there. They have pools, hot tubs, an exercise room, and they have a library.

Fellowship Square Tucson was like a neighborhood where you have a neighbor or your friend there with you. The facilities were very well kept and very clean. The lady that did the tour was very well informed. She answered the questions and knew the facility inside and outside. They give you three meals a day. They also had a salon, a courtyard, and they were very busy with different activities on different days. The food was very good.

Fellowship Square Tucson is too big. It's spread out too much. It was good, but it was just too confusing. I saw the dining room, a multipurpose activity room, and a library. The cleanliness was very good. The rooms were very nice. I only looked at two rooms, but they were very nice. However, in terms of location, it's kind of on the outskirts of the city. It's beautiful and all that sort of stuff, but unless you happen to be in a more central bedroom, getting around is much more difficult.

I toured Fellowship Square Tucson and I liked the construction of the building. It's awesome. You can't hear any noises between the apartments between the floors or in the halls or anywhere. The dining place was adequate. I just didn't care for the food that I had and the dining area wasn't in the same building. Like today at noon, which would have been time to eat, it was pouring down rain here and I'm not very comfortable walking over there in that weather. Otherwise, the apartments were a nice size. It wasn't expensive and it's in a good location.

We have selected a place and we're going to Fellowship Square Tucson. When we went to see it originally, it didn't have that same feeling that I get at so many other places. You don't have hallways, your apartment is open to the outside, and the people seem very, very nice. We had a meal there to make sure the food was good, and the food was excellent. We were really surprised and very happy that it was good. They have a lovely dog park. I have a dog and that's very important to me. Because it's nonprofit, it was half as much as the other place (which we also like), but that was way too expensive. The only interaction I've had was with the woman who took care of the leasing. However, everybody seemed very friendly and very nice. They don't have as many facilities as some of the other places. But they have a lovely library, and they have a workout room. They have some nice senior features, and they have like a little café.

I toured Fellowship Square Tucson. They have the full range of things. It is an older facility, so a lot of the rooms have an outdoor space outside your door where you could go and sit if you wanted to. They have ground floors where you could sit outside. But it was reminiscent of those strip motels where you go into a room and you enter from an outside door. They didn't give very many meals with your rent. They provide 15 meals a month, and that isn't a lot, and then they have continental breakfast. They're a little bit cheaper, but they don't have as many meals. I asked some of the residents about happy hours, and they said, "We're a Christian community. We don't have happy hours or social hours where they serve alcohol."

Fellowship Square Tucson is a very nice and very clean community. The grounds are beautiful. The landscaping is very nice and very well-kept. The pool area is also very nice. My friend's apartment was all renovated with new floors, new carpet, and new appliances. The price is great for what's included. They take them to the doctor's appointments or go shopping, you can come and go, and there's parking provided for residents who still drive and own vehicles. When you walk into their beautiful dining room, on the left-hand side is an area with computers. On the right side, there's a huge library of books. Then they have a little restaurant that they're getting ready to open up. If you don't like what's on the menu, you can go around the corner and you can order off the menu. He loves the continental breakfast, and when he goes to lunch, he can pick what he wants. It's got 19 acres of land, so it's huge. They have a little store in there, too.

My friend has been in Fellowship Square Tucson for two and a half years. They're very, very good. They look after their residents and they have a very friendly staff. It's a nice facility. They keep it up very well. They've had some issues because it's an older facility, but they've addressed them since. The grounds are well maintained and they have their own maintenance department, which is very nice. She has a two-bedroom place and they've made changes when she moved in because she needed a shower tub that didn't have a big shower or big tub. So, they redid the tub so she can walk right through it. They're very accommodating. Everyone I've met keeps close contact with her and makes friends with her, so they go that extra mile too. I've eaten there and the food's very good. If you're independent, you have no problems there with activities. They have a lot of them. However, if you are on the assisted living, they go ahead and help you decide what you might want to do for the month. They have an exercise program and a get-together night where they watch a movie and for the price, I think they are probably fair for what they have. They have what they call ala carte, so overall, I think you get a good bang for your buck.

Fellowship Square Tucson was beautiful. It's a smaller community than the other one we looked at. The rooms were good and clean. They have laundry facilities, a gym, and a beautiful dining area. Kathy was knowledgeable about the facility. She went out of her way to make sure we didn't get rained on. So, that was nice of her. They also have Bible studies, they go out and do activities in the community or other places they want to go, transportation to doctor's appointments or go shopping, they have two nice swimming pools and a nice little pond there.

We took a tour of Fellowship Square Tucson for my mother and sister. The staff were very helpful and very informative. The upkeep was beautiful; I'd give it five stars. The rooms were nice and clean. The layout of the place was good.

My parents lived there. The room had just been completely update with new carpet, kitchen appliances, and paint. They loved the dining room, linen tablecloth, and individual servers. It felt like going to an expensive restaurant. The food was good, with good choices. My parents loved the small bistro where they could order ice cream or a burger, etc. All of the rooms open to an outside walkway instead of enclosed hallways. Good views and very nice landscaping. I know some areas were just updated and the elevators were replaced. It was a secure area outside of the apartment because of the configuration of the buildings with locked gates at the corners. The staff were helpful and friendly. The security team is always moving around and keeping a eye on the area. They and the office staff were extremely helpful when my mom had a medical emergency. If I lived in Tucson I would be moving in!!

My wife and I moved into Fellowship Square Tucson and it is wonderful. We are very pleased, and it is the right place for us. The people are very kind. Everyone we talked to told us we'll love it here and we do. The food is great, and my wife says it is fabulous. We're just very pleased. We have a 2-bedroom, 2-baths apartment, and it is the same for everyone. They have so many activities, but we have not participated because we're still getting settled and opening boxes. They take people out once a week for rides up to the mountains, and other places. I cannot be specific because I haven't really studied them, but I hope eventually, my wife and I will take part in some of the activities. They have an inhouse physical therapist, a weight room, exercise room, library, a computer room, and a lot of things. It is beautiful. They keep up the lawns and all the yard. There are four or five units, and each unit has its own swimming pool. It is just great and beautiful. They are a non-profit, a Christian, independent facility, and they have assisted living, too. From the standpoint of price, they are very competitive and that is one of the big reasons we chose them.

I went to Fellowship Square Tucson. It was not convenient for me. The bathrooms were very small; I could not get a walker in, but they're putting up new ones by next year, and you have to go outside to get to the main building. We talked about the rooms, and I saw the floor plans, but they did not show it to me. From the office, you could see they had a very nice gathering place in the backyard, they had a very nice atmosphere outside, the lake was nice, and there were people buzzing around. The facilities were very clean and upscale.

I visited Fellowship Square in Tucson. The rooms were good. The only downside is that you'd have to walk across the parking lot because the dining area was quite a ways from some of the apartments. The woman that showed us around answered our questions, but she talked down about the other places. It just wasn't a very comfortable atmosphere. The food we had was OK, but a bit salty, and the dining room was very dark.

Fellowship Square Tucson is well-cared for, they have somebody doing yard maintenance and that kind of thing, so it looks very nice most of the time. My mother-in-law is in the independent living level, and she gets housekeeping services. She's not very happy with the meals, but she's a picky eater. They have cards, movies, a swimming pool, and so on. There's lots of amenities available.

Fellowship Square Tucson was very clean, and the people are very nice. You get a lot of attention, and there are a lot of activities for someone who's still functional. The only room I was interested in was the studio -- which was quite large -- and it had a dishwasher and a full refrigerator. There's plenty of closet space, so it was quite large for a studio. The staff is just outstanding, very caring, and very friendly. The grounds are beautiful, and they have flowers everywhere. They have orange trees and a swimming pool.

Fellowship Square is very nice. The staff people are very polite and helpful, and they are always interested in your ideas. They are nice people. The room is about 750 sq. ft., and it is very nice. I am still moving in, so I have boxes all over the place. There is a whole bunch of things here. There are about 650 people, 4 buildings, 3 or 4 swimming pools, and all sorts of stuff. The grounds are very attractive, well-planted, and kept up nicely with lots of plants and flowers. It is right in the city, and it has been here for a long time. There are banks and stores all around, so there are lots of opportunities for shopping. They have a private bus service for the residents. The food is quite good, and there is a tremendous amount of variety, much more than I would provide myself. I have no negative comment so far.

My wife and I chose to move here one year ago and have no regrets. Not only is it priced reasonably, the food and services are much better than we expected. We both made it a point to become involved in what it has to offer and the adjustment has been easy. I have begun to liken it to living on a cruise ship but with the added benefit of establishing long term friendships. We don't have any maintenance and upkeep chores, we have more activities available than we could possibly attend, there are people here from all walks of life, and management cares about us residents. I am trying to think of something negative to say so I won't sound like a pollyanna. I'm thinking... hmmm... still thinking... Oh, hell, I give up. ????

My mother was at Fellowship Square Tucson for at least five years. She started out in the unassisted living in her own apartment. They only had two levels of care there and can’t help with transferring. They’re not capable of that, so that’s why we had to move from there, but my mother was really happy over there. It is a very old place establishment, probably over 50 years old, but it is nice. They have pools, and the food was very good. Everybody was nice to my mom. They loved her, and she loved them. It was quite a traumatic event to have to leave Fellowship Square. They had been very good to my mother.

Fellowship Square was way too pricey for me. The rooms, bedrooms, and open spaces were very large. It was an older building and had a nice parking lot. If I had the money, that was probably the one I would choose. However, I did think they would make special food for certain people.

Fellowship Square had very nice and well-manicured grounds, nice gardens to walk in, a nice pool, fitness center right on-site with people that help you with training and rehab if you had any operations, the food was pretty good, the apartments were all remodeled and looking nice, and the administrative staff was well informed and been working quite a while with senior citizens so they were very good. What stood out to me is the upkeep of the grounds and that they really care about the property. As soon as you walk into the office, they had everything planned out for the whole week, what time the shuttles were leaving, and what opportunities you can have to go shopping, to a show, or to a casino. It's very nice the way it was set up.

I think Fellowship Square is a very good facility from what I’m beginning to understand about it. I haven’t been here very long, but I’m totally independent. They have a place for all kinds of people with different levels of care from assisted to fully independent. I’m in one room now that very nice for me, and everything’s going well. I think the food is very good. I need to be here longer because I’m participating in all aspects of the facilities that they’re able to offer me, like exercises, the pool which has been very helpful, and walking.

The rooms were quite adequate. Fellowship told me about their services and it sounded pretty good. We walked through a nice garden and went to a very wonderful gym. They have a very fancy restaurant and a bistro. I know some people living there and the staff seemed to be knowledgeable and caring. There is a church next to it too.

Fellowship Square is a nice place. We got a lot of extra care that’s provided. My mom is living there. The dining room is very nice. You can have the meals delivered if you can’t go to the dining room. The apartments are pretty nice, simple, and very spacious. They have exercise programs, movie nights, and games. They have their own small gym, a couple of swimming pools, and a spa. They have a sort of family gathering area for barbeques.

They have people on their waiting list all the time. In fact, I've talked to people who are on the waiting list for 15 years, and they got on that early because they knew exactly which unit they wanted. The only thing about Fellowship Square is that their meals are great. My mom lives in the main villas, so she actually lives in the best of the four buildings, and the residents are all very nice. Mom lives by the elevator, so people are coming and going, and they are all very nice to her. Nice residents, and the staff is good, but the only thing wrong with them is maintenance. Their maintenance people -- half of them seem like they don't know what they are doing. They have a full activity schedule. They take people to concerts and events and theater, and they have something going on almost every hour of the day in one of the villas -- they actually have four buildings. They have brain games and chair exercises or yoga or swimming, so the ladies are out at 8 in the morning. They have a lot on their activity schedule, and they do a lot of transportation to various shopping places and so forth. It is surely a pretty good place. But if you want something more luxurious, what they are doing now if the person wants the asbestos beams in the ceiling covered and have the place remodeled, they are basically charging people around $500 a month more for their units. So, they are giving people the option of getting their units upgraded, but the new tenant pays for it, and the rest of the tenants or the ones that come thereafter.

My wife and I reside at Fellowship Square Tucson. We just came in about a week ago. This is a non-profit community. We're paying over $700 a month less than we did at our last community. That's the main thing for us. The apartment that we have is bigger in this community. It is a one-bedroom with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. They have the usual activities like most of the communities. They also have all the amenities like with all the other ones. We have exercise and game playing. We have a library and a computer room. The computer room has about 10 computers compared to the last place, which only had three. They have five swimming pools too, and they're good size pools. The food is very good.

Fellowship Square was very neat and clean, and the grounds were well maintained. The staff was excellent, answered all my questions, and even emailed me a couple of times. The dining room was great, and everyone that I made eye contact with smiled. They have so many activities that they have one calendar for activities and a separate calendar for exercise groups and classes. I thought they were very efficient, caring, and helpful.

I was in Fellowship Square, which was a specific senior facility. The facilities were quite pleasant. The environment was good, and the landscaping was beautiful. They provided 15 meals a month. My room there was OK. It was a studio apartment, so it was small. It was a friendly and inviting, but it is a rather large community.

The staff of Fellowship Square was very professional and they were all very friendly. They seemed to have good social activities for my dad. It was an older facility, but it was clean. They seemed to be able to provide anything that a senior would need as far as transportation and medical needs. It is an old building, and it is a lot of walking distance for the seniors to get from point A to point B, and a lot of it is outdoors, so they have to be in the elements. If it is cold or raining, they still have to walk to the cafeteria.

Fellowship Square was more affordable, but security wasn’t there. Their parking lots were not fenced in or guarded, and there was no security for an elderly going to walk out the building to the parking lot. It’s more like an old apartment complex that’s been made over for elderly care. They have to walk across the grounds to get a meal, and it’s not located in one building. They are charged like an a la carte thing; you are charged for every little thing you need. They have a swimming pool for residents to use. It’s in a part of town known to be dangerous.

My mom is a resident of Fellowship Square and it is a wonderful place. Everything has been excellent, and my mother is very pleased. She is in a two-bedroom apartment. It is very affordable and the price is right. Everybody I talk to is pleased with the place, and they told me it is best decision they make. They are happy to be there, nobody has any complaints. It is amazing! The dinner is excellent. They treat you very nicely. They have an elegant dining room. They are nice, open, and they offer a lot of stuff. It has four swimming pools and lots of activities like exercise. She's very happy there and she didn't want to move.

Fellowship Square Tucson is the one that I'm leaning towards right now. In fact, I even have a deposit there. It is well located in town. I very much like their amenities and their accommodations. Their apartments are very large. They also have a nice garden area. I also like that they have a limited number of meals. When you get to my age, somebody in their 80s, you don't need three big meals a day.

If and when my husband and I decided to go to a retirement community, we will go to Fellowship Square. It used to be an apartment house. The rooms are much larger than the other places. The staff was nice. They had swimming pools and other activities.

I definitely recommend Fellowship Square to others. It was located near a hospital. The apartments were spacious. The only drawback we saw was that you had to walk quite a distance to eat.
