So far, having my father in Touchmark at The Ranch is going well. It was a smart move. The staff is above average, they've been in contact a lot and are trying to do their best despite the COVID situation. He has a nice apartment with a nice view. It's a nice room, nice large bathroom and the facilities are very nice. It's a beautiful facility. My dad doesn't love the food. They're not really doing very many activities right now.

BEWARE! You should have your advisor do a very very detailed analysis of your finances to accommodate the money needed to live at TM Prescott and you must factor in a 10% annual increase from TM and most importantly an inflation factor of at least 15% on all other costs in general spending. I lived here for 8 months after selling my house and regretted ever considering TM Prescott. The facility is impeccable but the food is a disaster. I stopped getting the food since it was not edible and ended up cooking and eating in my residence. An added cost I did not factor in. Once I went through a 9% increase and truly realized my costs to live here I had my advisor review the data with me and he broke the news that it wouldn’t work long term. I decide to get out while I could and am much happier not having all of the stress from TM costs. I see that they continue to add more living spaces which is going to add more residents to put pressure on the sub par staff. I still have friends that are there that are not happy when they look at all the money they are spending each year. They are also strongly considering getting out. Their reputation among retirees in the local community is very low and are only surviving off of new out of town prospects that are not aware of all of the challenges.

Beautiful memory care facilities that are sorely understaffed and run by incompetents. Salesperson was misleading and knowingly overpromised to get the contract. Be prepared to get half of the services you are paying for, without any proration or reasonable correction to billing. Put your loved one elsewhere, or you are paying top dollar for services you will not be receiving.

I will be moving into Touchmark at The Ranch. It is a one-bedroom apartment with a good-sized living room, a decent-sized bedroom, a good closet space, and an outdoor terrace. For an extra fee, I was able to rent a storage room down in the basement. They have a built-in health club that you automatically become a member of. They have a swimming pool, hot tubs, and massage tables. They have parking available. What I like about the facility is that I can live in my independent living apartment for as long as I can do it. If I should deteriorate, and when necessary, they would move me into a comparable apartment where the facility is more to my needs. They are all seriously interested in protecting their clients. Everyone I've met has been courteous, polite, and concerned. Of the facilities that I have personally seen, this is the best. They have three restaurants. One of them is a very fine restaurant open to the public, and it's expensive. But they also give you a monthly allowance to use. The physical facilities are top-level. They have movies, occasional concerts, a calendar of events, and transportation into town.

We toured Touchmark at The Ranch. It's absolutely beautiful and it's everything anybody could want. But they want a huge down payment, hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that's not acceptable. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a gym, a salon, and a nice swimming pool. The facilities are wonderful. The whole place is just beautiful, and I couldn't find anything to criticize.
