The residents and staff at Sagewood are great. Everyone we have met here goes out of their way to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. It feels like we have known them for a lot longer than the short time we have lived here. There are are than enough restaurants, activities, concerts, lectures, etc to satisfy anyone. We feel that our lives have been enriched by being here.

I went to Sagewood independent living and went into a couple of the rooms. It's a beautiful place. It had everything that you could want, from small studio apartments up to very large over million-dollar properties on their campus. One thing I found very interesting was you didn't really see residents moving around. They had pools and everything, but you didn't see residents, at least when I was there. It seemed like the people were very private. It didn't seem like a friendly place. Because of COVID, they had one dining area that was still closed, and I just saw one that was smaller and there were only a couple of people in it. That was mid-afternoon, so it wasn't a good time. The grounds were quite lovely to be. If you were there, it would be very pleasant walking around. It's a beautiful place, but it is expensive. It is continuing care, so it offers all levels. They only offer one type of finance program, and it's very expensive to get in. It's really out of my financial range. I had a woman that gave me the tour. She was very helpful, but I understand she is no longer there.

We have toured Sagewood. I toured it for independent living, but they have assisted living, they have memory care, and they have skilled care. It was neat and clean. The staff was helpful, and the residents seemed to think it was a good place. The apartments were spacious and comfortable. They have a wealth of activities. They even have an activities director who is in charge of producing a calendar each month. The upkeep was very well. The lawns were well manicured. The building was a neat, clean, and very up-to-date fact. They're going through an expansion right now. They've not sacrificed the rest of the property for the expansion.

My sister lived in Sagewood two years ago. It was phenomenal. They had a gourmet restaurant on the premises. They had a little snack buffet, and then they had another dining area. They had indoor swimming pools and outdoor pools. They had musical activities, movie nights, and cards. They had transportation that took the residents anywhere they wanted to go and out to cultural events. It's a phenomenal facility and very, very expensive. It's one that you buy into rather than lease. Their food is superb. We dined with my sister fairly often. Their formal restaurant is just as elegant as anything you would find in this area. The place was exceptionally well-run and beautiful. It was brand new, and they have security. My sister had the need to go into their care area following some hospitalizations while she was a resident there, and they just took excellent care of her in the nursing are; then she went back to her apartment.

I've been living in this amazing place for seven years. All of its special attributes are certainly worthy of praise, but Sagewood's most unique asset is its very special resident culture. More than 400 remarkable residents have created an atmosphere that is welcoming, stimulating and rewarding. They have created many of Sagewood's very special activities that enrich the mind and encourage expression. It's a very comfortable community in every respect.

My wife and i have been visiting numerous Continuing Care Retirement centers for the last several years and have concluded that Sagewood is far superior to any other facilities currently available. Both the resident's we've met as well as the staff at Sagewood are very friendly and helpful, always seeking to meet the needs of those living there. We've had meals in all of their dining facilities and the food has always been outstanding. I've never had better lamb chops in my entire life. Their facilities for keeping the residents in shape are first class, with a well equipted work out room staffed by two professional trainers; both indoor and outdoor swiming pools and hot tubs, two onsite movie theaters, a bank and market place. All resident's also have underground parking for their vehicles - what more could one ask. They have a variety of independent living units to choose from and if the time ever comes when one requires special care, they have beautiful assisted living, memory care and full nursing care units as part of the package. Making the decision to call Sagewood our future home was not a difficult decision. We are currently awaiting the completion of their Phase 2 expansion project.

Sagewood community was very nice. The only thing I’m hesitant about is living there for 12 months a year in the heat. It’s beautiful, clean, and almost luxurious. They have indoor and outdoor swimming pools and planned activities within the community as well as going out on trips. They have several restaurants, and the food that I had there was excellent. The only thing is living in 100+ temperature for June, July, and August.

My parents liked Sagewood because the food seemed better than other places. She tasted the food and liked it. I liked it. It was beautiful but pricey. The ambience was very peaceful and very lovely. That was the only place that my mom wanted to go. It had beautiful views and carpets. They had built-in, over-the-tub shelves, which was nice. It was a huge place. They had barn-like doors that swing back and forth. It was more upscale than the other place I visited.

Sagewood had lovely rooms and most of them were fairly good sized. The staff was very nice. The meals were better than average. They had regular exercise equipment, they had a library, and they had all kinds of activities. They had a restaurant type facility rather than a buffet where you can just sit down and order whatever you want.

Sagewood was extremely upscale and extremely pricey but absolutely gorgeous as far as the exterior. It was more like going to a high-priced resort-type thing. They had lovely people, and it was very well-organized. They did a great job showing us all the amenities. They're owned by the same organization that owns a number of life facilities. My rating was not because of their amenities but because of their pricing. They didn't offer a lot of things that were any different than the other places; it's just a much more upscale construction. It was something anybody would dream of; it's just too pricey for the average person.

Sagewood is also a 5. It's just a question of taste or a feeling of comfort. We have friends there who are very happy. They have excellent medical care and they have a full range of group activities. They have indoor and outdoor pools, exercise rooms and supervised physical activities. They also have music and entertainment.

This is one of the most beautiful and innovative concept of any retirement community I have seen. They all sorts of various style homes on the 85 acres. They detached casitas and villas and the one and two bedroom apartments in the center of the campus. They have a skilled nursing facility as well. The grounds are beautiful with sitting areas.large central courtyard with a pool and spa. It is truly a total resort. Their are beautiful views of the mountains. Their innovative concept of life style choices is marvelous. Here each resident buys in to their home or apartment of choice and pay their rent monthly so they own their home. This includes all of their utilities, services, and ability to stay and move to the skilled nursing, They are also guaranteed 80% of their investment back on leaving or death. As the residents require more care they can move into the skilled care portion to a private room. They have a gorgeous interior. There is various choices for dining in the restaurant, lounge/cafe, takeout, and even pool side dining. The food is wonderful. The skilled center offers 3 meals a day and snacks and separate dining room. They have a nice fitness center, library, beauty and barber shop and activity area. They do weekly housekeeping and linen service. They have nurses and certified caregivers on duty. Doctors come in and they transport to appointments with in 18 miles. They have lots of activities from bingo and one on one to daily outings to shopping and events. They have entertainment come in.The staff seems very nice and caring. A wonderful place!
