I lived there for 3 years and a half. The stuff is very kind and no turn over, that gives it a family feel to it. The food is all cooked from scratch, no burgers, can and packed food, so if you like junk food, don't go there. If you like healthy food, that's a place to go. Residents are carefully picked, if you like a quiet friendly place, this is it. But if you have substance abuse, alcohol and other disruptive behavior, you'll be out pretty quickly. The manager is strict about that. 9 pm all residents have to be back, unless arrangements have been made. So if you like to wonder, don't go there. If they don't see you at closing, they will report a missing person. Some of the residents have been there for 15 years. It is a nice place and the cost is still reasonable given the good care provided. Don't go there if you are disruptive and use street drugs, alcohol ... There are no exceptions- they'll kick you out... I would recommend to anyone who needs a good peaceful home and healthy food.

Visited this place on Sunday May 1st. Have a Veteran there who was hit by a city bus and knocked from his wheelchair a week or so earlier He went to Maricopa County Hosp for treatment and was given a prescription for pain medicine for hip injuries suffered. They are uncooperative and let this Veteran suffer and won't get his medicine for him. The place is not very clean either. In my opinion they are totally lacking in providing the environment you would want to place your kin in, and their license should be revoked. This same Veteran received a ticket for jaywalking when he crossed Thomas road where no pedestrian stripes were and in his wheelchair. To my knowledge they haven't even talked to him about this.
