The only person that I spoke to at Arcadia Estate -- in addition to one of the tenants -- was Michelle. She was very accommodating and very nice. She knew what she was talking about when I explained that my father-in-law had dementia and he needed some kind of care or medication for that. And they have a 5-step memory care program, which mean they take care of the really bad ones that don’t even remember who they are -- which of course anybody that has dementia is going to get to that point -- and they are equipped to take care of that. They have a locked floor in their facility for the wanderers like my father-in-law or the people who want to get out in the street and they can’t because they don’t know where they are going and what they are doing so they are a risk to themselves and to other people. They have a whole floor of them, and they have a backyard for them to go out in so they can go outside, but they just can’t go out in the street. You can’t put a person who’s going to wander just anywhere, and they’re able to do that, so I very much like that. They have everything that anybody could use. I saw one of the rooms as well because there’s a tenant there that apparently likes when people come and visit her room, and she was very nice. The rooms were a little on the small side, but it’s only the one person, and they don’t even know where they are at half the time, so what’s the difference? It would have worked out perfectly because my father-in-law doesn’t cook, so they have a microwave, a refrigerator, and a sink. She also had a bed and a little balcony, and she was lying on the floor and watching TV, so it’s perfect for one person. They have their own private bathroom so they don’t have to share, and I liked that too. This place just happened to work out perfectly for me.

My mother has lived at Arcadia Estate for over two years. During this time she has consistently received outstanding care. I looked at numerous assisted living facilities in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area before selecting Arcadia Estate. The caregiver to resident ratio, quality of food, accommodations, atmosphere, and cleanliness - all were superior to any other facility I could find (and I looked at a lot). I was able to visit my mother at any time, unannounced, and always found the care she received to be outstanding. When work permitted, I was able to have meals with my mother and always found the food to be delicious and well-prepared. Because of a change in jobs, I recently moved to Wisconsin. I immediately sought a facility there that was comparable to Arcadia Estate that I could move my mother into and so I could be closer to her. There are none. So, I have left my mother at Arcadia Estate, visiting whenever I can, but confident in knowing that she is receiving the care she needs. I would highly recommend Arcadia Estate Assisted Living for a loved one's care.

I have visited Assisted Living Facilities from Florida to Arizona. Arcadia Estate is the finest, most spacious 10,000 sq.ft. facility that was built to be just for 10 residents. I am currently looking for assisted living for several people in Tx. and cannot find a comparable facility.

I visited Arcadia Estate Assisted Living this past year and in  general, I thought Arcadia Estate Assisted Living was a luxurious assisted living home that is very breathless when you pull up to the the front of the house. The grounds of the facility were very well landscaped and clean from the front yard to the immaculate backyard.  The common areas of the facility is very spacious with so much room to walk around comfortably. This home provides a private chef and private geriatric massages. Arcadia Estate was built with assisted living in mind. Each resident has a private bedroom suite and private bathroom not to mention each room has a garden patio. The staff of the facility were very friendly and well attentive to each and every resident. The management I did not meet but from what I could see they run Arcadia Estate very well from the chef to the caregivers. It was one of the homes that I would While I was there, I noticed that every resident was out of their rooms doing activities whether it was physical therapy or card games. Every caregiver made sure all the residents were well comfortable and made them feel like family. Overall, Arcadia Estate Assisted Living  is a great home and I  would recommend it to a specific group of people that would do well there.

I had to go to this facility while I was out there. This is a 1200 square foot home. It has a nice view and a beautiful yard. The home is beautiful home. They have six residents. They have ten private bedrooms in the house. Each room has its own private patio and private bathroom. The bedrooms are huge, and they are open and sunny. It's pretty. They have a formal dining room. They have computer access for the residents. They have an RN and an LPN on staff who come in. They have all sorts of different activities they do with the residents. They even have a fitness center. The cooking is all done at the house. The residents can eat in the dining room or in their rooms. The dining rooms are gorgeous. The owner had the house built for his father, because when he came to town, he couldn't find an assisted living facility that he thought was very good, so he built this whole estate for his father and other assisted living residents. They always have 2-3 certified caregivers during days, 2 during afternoons, and 2 at night. They have a doctor that comes in and visits. This home is just gorgeous. It's very formal but still homey. They have nice furniture in the areas where they sit and it's well decorated. I love the staff and the owner. The owner is a very caring man, and he loves these people. They are excellent.

I have a friend from church that I visit regularly in this facility. He seems to enjoy the variety of food and activity offered. I believe this facility "leaves him alone" unless completing a routine check or delivering meds. I typically enjoy more interactive atmosphere within a home. I do not have contact with the man's family to know of thier satisfaction; however, it seems he is settled and comfortable. The home always seems clean and tidy. There is a lack of color and warmness immediately upon entering the home. The landscaping surrounding the home is nice; however, my friend states that rarely he is taken into the garden without having to make a special request.
