My mom spent a month at Christian Care Health Center. But they changed settings where patients needed to be more independent, so we had to transfer her to another facility. The building was not brand spanking new and it was just a small building, but it was also very quaint. I had to put a couple of those lavender tablets in the toilet tank because the bathroom seemed to smell even though it was clean because the plumbing was older. And I had put in a diffuser in her room. Her room could have used a little bit of a paint job, too. But overall, it was comfortable. They had a courtyard centerpiece floor plan and the dining room was facing the courtyard. So it's nice because when the residents were eating, they could see the outdoors. There was a lot of natural sunlight coming in. The thing that made up the difference was that the CNAs were good. The nurses were outstanding. The director of nursing was always available and always willing to offer any help or resolution. Her door was always open. She was super, super nice, and just ready to jump in there and listen to any concerns we had. We didn't have many, but whenever I would bring anything to her attention, she was just all ears, all eyes, and all attention. Their activities director, Tammy, was superb. She was so kind, so compassionate, and so engaging with the residents. She was just one of a kind. Their housekeeping department was good. And when you walked in the door, the lady who greeted you was outstanding. It was really hard to leave that facility because the staff was so good.

This is rigged. I wrote my review and it's still rated high. I think Melody was an excellent CNA. She was very conscious. A CNA Shasta, a beautiful women was full of compassion, caring and soothing. Chris was prompt and polite. Sean and Ruth ought to be replaced to a circus. 2 gr8 breaks. After 9 hours of being in excruciating pain from a bowel obstuctioln ignored me. I ended up calling EmS because there were no nurses on the floor. Including Theresa the charge nurd. I thought it was going to rupture. I've had this experience multiple times before. The Dr. Leave him alone but I had to tell him what I needed to do as far as tx. I was put on "medical hold" so received no PT Or OT. I went home weak I was in fear of my obstruction. and could not use my calves. What I say about that is Andy helped me, he drilled "safety first" I think about that all the time because I am using walls. Yes I live alone. HR..I couldn't say enough nice things about them . Lauren was not cool. He just wanted to rush me out. I don't respect him. I want to see the investigation. Amen. I was to sick to choose a rehab. I knew the minute I hit the doors this place was not right. To sick to transfer. Little did I know. Follow your gut. Oh, and activities were suburb!

A beautiful campus where people truly care. My mother has lived there for 2 years now. This place has it all my mother doesn't even have to leave the campus her their is Dr on campus along with therapy services everyone has been so helpful. This is one of the few places who put patient care above profits. Just ask a resident or my mother how great this place is come and visit to see for yourself.

Christian Care was a friendly community. They took care of people and were very loving. The place is comfortable, clean, and easy to get around. Prior experience is one big reason that I am choosing this place for my wife, plus the fact that they have memory care. We have discussed how that would work, and they are much cheaper than anything in Prescott where we presently live.

I visited Christian Care and it was excellent but they were almost $1000 higher than where I live now. The staff were very good. The place was very clean. My daughter and I ate in there and the food was okay. I can say that this place is superior as far as cleanliness and the food even though it's an older building. They do maintain the place very well. If you need something they are there. The place is very well planned out.

Christian Care is a full service assisted living residential environment. It is a first class operation. It has everything one needs whether you need full blown assisted living or even if you just need the security of knowing someone is there for you if you need help. They have several different living quarters from apartments in a high-rise apartment bldg called Fellowship Hall to the more private duplex housing. The staff has always been super to me when I have visited and I asked my aunt and she said she has no complaints at all. With several restaurants on premises, there is never a shortage of good home cooked food. My favorite being The Rainbow Room, which is opened for breakfast and lunch. It is a smaller place and it's more like a meeting place for those that want to get together daily with their friends and visit. Christian Care has a very efficient service and maintenance staff that keeps the facilities in top shape with an abundance of live flowers growing all over the place.

Christian Care Nursing Center provides my mom the best care I could hope and pray for. The facility is a 5 star facility providing all facets of care your loved parent would need. The activities director has my mom participating in arts and crafts she would have never done before! The staff there is helpful, informative and I receive a call for any simple changes in my mom's health.. i.e., bruise or bump. The Human Resource Director is always helpful when I need an a question answered or need assistance. I highly recommend CCNC for care of your loved one....you will not be disappointed.

My Great Grand mother used to stay there and she was happy with the way they treated her whenever we would ask her about it. When I went in and spoke with them they were alway extremely happy and provided good customer service and from what I can tell the workers there seemed to really care about the tenants there. When I went to go eat with her on occasion I didnt think the food was that good but my granny did not seem to mind it although she preferred when I brought take out. I didn't like how bare the rooms were though. They used a community bath room and only had a bed, nightstand, tv and dresser; however, the activities they planned and had access too seemed to be a lot for them to choose from. Usually once a week or so they would try to do something with a group of tennants and the rest of the time they were able to go to the library room, game room, arts and crafts room or theatre room. My granny passed there and they were extremely helpful with suggestions and very sensative.

I was at Christian Care Center recently and happened upon a resident who was determined to leave the building. She was in a wheelchair but that didn't deter her from making her way toward the front door. A staff member attempted to redirect but was unsuccessful. Clearly, this was going to be one of those times when the resident needed to pursue her goal. Between the three caregivers who were busy with their duties, they quickly rearranged their tasks so that one of them could accompany the woman outside. This is a good example of putting the residents needs first.
