The home was perfect. I couldn't say anything better. I couldn't have asked anything better for my dad. A Sunny Pine Assisted Living was just perfect for me and my dad. He loved it. He was a resident there but he had passed since. They're excellent. They actually handled everything for me. They took a big load off of me and they were very helpful. The owners were great. The employees were great, too. I can't complain. I had dinner there like one or two nights. I'm not a big meat eater, so I had the veggies and potatoes. My dad didn't complain and he was fussy either, so I guess it was very good. I would recommend anybody who has to place their parents somewhere to definitely look into this place.

I was a resident over at A Sunny Pine Assisted Living. It's really lovely over there. The food is really good. It's very, very clean. I was lucky I had the master bedroom, so I had my own bathroom. The temperature was good in the house, they were really comfortable. I enjoyed it there. The people were very nice. I used to get people to play scrabble and cards, and I put together puzzles. Some of the activities weren't as high functioning so they got a little mixed up with scrabble, but yeah, that was a fun one. Each person has her own room and it's separated, but they eat meals together kinda family style except that they put the food on the plates for you instead of having everybody touching everything. Even before the COVID thing, they were very careful. The meals are really good. They had a lot of homemade pies, and ice cream was always a big thing for everybody. They have nice mikasa china. It is a very nice neighborhood; it is very quiet. It is backed up to the church, but they don't make any noise and they don't play music. You could hardly ever hear them. It made your backyard a lot more private. The last time I stayed there was when I had shoulder surgery and I couldn't take care of myself when I got home, so I went there. Food was really good. The facilities were very nice. Everything was a really nice style like in the kitchen. They had wood floors in most of the house and then just carpets in the bedrooms. I think it is a lot for your value for your money. In fact, I have a friend that I want to take over there and let her check it out because she is a widow.

My grandfather loved A Sunny Pine Assisted Living. We loved it. Everyone that worked there was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place for him to be. In the mornings, they had a whole bunch of different activities they could do. They had a really nice sitting area outside where he could walk back and forth. The patios were super secure; he couldn't trip or anything. He is not there anymore because he passed away. They did everything they could. He wanted to get out of the hospital really bad; he had an infection. My mom called them. They set up the oxygen, and they got hospice to go to the house. Everything was set and ready and he passed when he was in transit. The couple who runs the house is amazing. They make sure everyone that walks in that door, e.g., that help and the nurses are amazing. Actually, the first time we were there, they made us food and it was great. My grandfather was diabetic so they worked very closely with his doctor with his diet. I ate their food and it was fantastic. It was a home cooked meal; it was nice. It is a beautiful house. All the bathrooms are spotless. Everything is clean. I always felt comfortable going and hanging out there. They did a lot of activities with my grandfather, and they made sure he was comfortable. He had a really hard time walking, so he was not very mobile, but they did PT exercises with him all the time. They got him to move as much as possible. I definitely did a lot of research for my grandfather, and I think that was one of the reasonably priced places especially for how nice it was. For the staff that was working there and the facilities that they had, I think it was extremely reasonable.

A Sunny Pine Assisted Living was very, very nice. I only met the husband and wife who own it and nobody else. They're very nice. I still communicate with them. The rooms were beautiful. Since the house had just opened, it was immaculate. I got my eye on them when I needed a place. Their objective is to try to get all veterans in there, which I think is a wonderful idea.

I just recently moved into A Sunny Pine Assisted Living and that was due to my own situation, but I have been off and on there for four years. I couldn't ask for a better bunch of people than Dave and Julie Ann. They are awesome. Well, they're very caring and giving. They go above and beyond. They'll do whatever they can to please you. They're very, very wonderful people. They went above and beyond for me. The only issue we had was with the former owner because he is a jackass. The first time I met them before they ever got the lease, I was hooked. They completely were very honest and open people. They basically let me have free range and do what I wanted, but when I needed the extra, they were there for me. I have a service dog and he was there, although he lived in the house prior to them coming. He thought that they were invading his property, but towards the end there, he was finally getting OK with them. They give all they got to you. They let you do what you want to do within that reason. Everybody that says something to me that 'Oh my mom needs to go somewhere.' Look, these people go above and beyond. I do most of my own food, and I like eating out. I'll even cook for them. They're like family to me. I like to cook, so they let me do my thing a lot of times.
