This is a friendly, caring community of and for seniors. I have lived here 12 years, and though employees come and go on occasion, it has provided outstanding service for these years. And the facility is a reasonable size. Covid certainly affected the familiar, but care and services continued as before. The facility is currently undergoing upgrading.

This is a wonderful life care community. It is like a small town under one roof. Friendly and helpful residents and staff. Great food. Lots of activities of all kinds. The care center is accessible without going outside, a real bonus if your spouse should be there or if you are there and your friends in the building want to visit you. The apartments are beautiful and have their own heating/cooling units. The maintenance crew is on site and very responsive. Even our cat loves it. We could not have made a better choice.

It is a life care center. They have a 52-bed ward downstairs, so whenever we get sick and can't take care of ourselves, we go downstairs. Your friends can come down and visit you at 2:00 in the morning. They have a complete rehab place in there. They have everything sectioned off for Alzheimer's, infectious diseases, and people that come back from hospitals. We have a cafeteria, a dining room, and a bistro where we get coffee and breakfast. They serve everything down there. We have a farmer's market that comes in once a week and brings us fresh vegetables. We have an ATM, a beautiful chapel, and a hairdressing place. Anybody that comes in will say they have never met a place where people were so friendly. They have a wonderful chef, and everybody likes the food. We are never without activities. They make the residents do the work of interviewing people. We all feel like we're a part of the whole place.

My mother was first in the independent living apartments, but later lost a leg and at that time moved to the skilled nursing then to the personal care areas. The apartment was very nice and she had excellent care in both nursing areas. The managers and nursing staffs were so nice, the food was very good, there were activities all day long and the personal care employees were very helpful. I can't say enough about Sierra Winds.

I like them, and it is exactly what I wanted. I like that they have all three stages from independent care to a memory care facility. They have a swimming pool and all kinds of card games. They also have bus trips, which is good.
