Mom is a resident at Ana & David. She is treated with respect and friendly care. She has a nice room (her own bedroom) she also has an easy chair and TV in her room if she wants to be alone. They have a large family room with a big screen TV. They have dining area in the family and also separate dining room. They celebrate residents birthday and also celebrate holidays. We are very pleased with mom’s care. Management is very nice.

We have chosen to send my mom up to Ana and David Assisted Living. I will be moving her in February. We went there in person, and I really liked it. It's smaller, they only had five people there and that's it. It's a very nice well-maintained home, and it's very beautiful inside. The people were very nice. They have nurses and doctors coming in all the time. I believe my mom will get better treatment there. I talked to a couple of women that were there while my wife was walking around the facility. I talked to a nice, sweet lady, and she told me how much she loves it there, and the other lady also said she loves it there. So, I believe that's the right place for my mom. The two women who work there seemed nice when I got there, but I don't know how they really are in real life. I just had the experience of meeting and talking to them; I don't know how they are professionally. The rooms were very nice-looking and very inviting. They had a courtyard where you could go outside, it's very nice, and it's all paved. It is a typical house in Peoria that they converted into a care home.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Ana & David's!! Quality Knowledgeable, Personalized Care, Spotless/Cozy environment, Nourishing home-made food, Exceptionally priced, Coordination of Care with the family. Ana and David's Feels like being at home with the warmest of family members. On Behalf of my mother and family, I feel it was divine intervention that we were connected with Ana & David's Assisted Living. Our Story: With the exception of some responsible family members, I have not left my mother (diagnosed with moderate dementia) in the care of anyone in over a year. If Mom was admitted to the Hospital, I was sleeping at the hospital, If Mom was admitted to a Rehab, I was sleeping at the Rehab. In early September My mom acquired an infection, she increasingly declined at Thunderbird hospital and her lack of reserve rendered her fully incapacitated and reliant on others for her total care. The next step was an Acute medical rehab-the therapists were wonderful, but again, mom declined, still overall unresponsive and unable to walk, feed herself, etc. I wanted to bring her home, but myself and family members had to admit that Mom's care far exceeded our abilities, and we were worried that we would be responsible for her potentially acquiring another infection. Assisted living was out of the question. Caring.com connected me with several small homes, and I immediately received a call from "Vera" who informed me she had a beautiful room with a private bath that led to an outdoor courtyard. The room and home was all Vera told me it would be, and so very much more. The room and home immaculate, comfortable and cozy` It was beautifully furnished with all the necessary medical items to support my mom (who was now bed-bound). Strangely enough the room also looked similar to mom's own room at home. Spotlessly. Vera was able to comfortably, seamlessly transition mom when we needed. Vera made a special visit to Rehab to meet with mom and coordinate with Case manager. On day #1 of transport my mother arrived her, got settled into her comfy bed and cozy room and mm smiled non stop. We had not seen that before-I think she felt the wonderful healing energy. That night for dinner she consumed a meal of homemade rice and vegetables and tilapia and cherry pie for desert. We did look at other homes, and others were very nice, but Ana & David was the absolute best fit for us and mom, I can't tell you how grateful we are that mom is here. For the first time I feel as if my mom is receiving the most quality personalized care-admittedly even better than I /we can currently provide. Staying at Ana & David's is keeping mom out of the hospital and ensuring the best quality of care. We visit with mom daily and the staff has been nothing short of welcoming and hospitable...we have been able to go home and get a good nights rest knowing in our hearts that mom is receiving the highest quality of care and anyone can ask for.
