For the review provided by 73187350, I have a few corrections. The facility is licensed for only 10 residents by the AZDHS. I do not know where all the numbers higher than 10 came from. The care givers are certified per the AZDHS requirements. There is only one male caregiver that has been hired by the facility since its construction in 2004 and he is very well liked by all the residents. I would tend to agree with the reviewer, in any service sector, there is always place for staff improvement,

We have her in Emerald Groves but we're not happy with it. There are several things that happen periodically that I feel like there are morons running the place. It's not well managed and so that was one reason why I inquired online to just see if I should start looking again. I don't know what to do at this time. I'm just so frustrated. I just don't know who to turn to and where to go and it's just a monumental stress in my life. The reason I chose Emerald Groves was because of the smaller community. They're licensed for 18 to 20 and the ratio was supposed to be more care staff to residents. There are caring people there but they have a lot of new hires. Because of the turnover, they've been really negligent in having the proper staff there. The new people that are coming in are really incompetent in my mind. They are just young men and women in their 20s. It's probably their first job out of school and they're not able to handle situations.

Emerald Groves is a very well run facility in Mesa. It houses up to ten patients in a mansion set among the citrus groves. Patients are given personalized care, including such touches as manicures from the staff. The staff are compassionate and competent. The facility is a bit frayed around the edges (it could use some new carpeting) but is very well maintained. My mother-in-law has thrived since she was placed in this facility over a year ago.

This facility has 10 residents, and they are licensed for all three levels of care. They have private, clean, sunny rooms. They have an RN twenty-four hours a day, and they have 7 caregivers that they split up between the three shifts. The owner lives on the premises "“ she's the RN. They have home cooking here "“ the food looked fairly good. They have a living room, and the residents can go outside and relax on the patio. They transport the residents to various places, and they also have a doctor on staff. They're planning an open house this August with a Hawaiian theme party. The grounds are kept up well "“ there's a lawn and flowers. I liked the staff "“ the residents seem happy there. This facility isn't extremely special, but the staff and the cooking makes it a good place, and I like the idea that they have an actual doctor on staff.
